Thanks for all the kind words! Can't wait till Norwalk this Wed! I didn't get to go to the RPM event today (raining) so I am hoping for good weather on on 9/10. I ran a 1.63 60' on the 9.66 pass and now I am consistantly 1.53 at Marion! Hopefully that will translate to more ET at Norwalk. Also with better temps, better prep (I am paying to prep to the 330) and the new tune Eric just slapped on the boost controller, it should make for an interesting day. I have 3 modes ready for this coming event... 1) 720 Wheel at about 8psi 2) 800 Wheel at about 10psi 3) 1000 Wheel at about 15psi each of these settings now build about 50 more hp under the curve because of the new changes on controller and the power is way smoother! There is a chance, if everything goes well, that I could best the 9.66 pass!

I'm not sure that the Supra and my car are even close to a fair race... That Supra is an all out race car from what I have heard and was in the 8's. Anyway, I am not calling anyone out just yet. We are still figuring the car out. The guys at IPS did some tuning yesterday and I now for the first time have what we expect to be controlled boost. 9/10 I will be at Norwalk making some more shake down passes. This should be my first real attempt at running 8's. As Jamie can probably tell you from experience, running that fast in any car can cause unforseen problems. We will keep working on making my car faster and more consistant... when I am ready, I will do my own calling out of whoever I think I am ready to race.

Looks like I will be missing this one... NTR doesn't want my car on thier track unless I add more saftey equipment. It will probably be next year before that happens.

That is the only video I have heard of so far... Jason gets his converter back Wednesday and I would imagine we will be at Marion this weekend. We are going to need a camera crew as we begin turning them up in our quest for 8's. We are going to Call Marion to see if they will prep the track in attempt to get into the 8's.

Got home from the Hospital at about 1:30 last night... after the Cat scan it turned out to be a false alarm... Thanks for the thoughts and prayers... she is home now and gets a day off school already.

thanks for all the kind words about the pass... Sucks I couldn't make any more passes... 150 is done, moving on towards 160 now... Long road to go, but tons of power left in the car. I can't wait to see the video.

The funny thing is we hook till 60'.... After that we start skating! On one run last night I was looking at the other lane out my front window! I am probably going to throw 100-200lbs in the back next time out. How bad would it be for me to take my Domestic out to the Import shootout?

Went up to Marion tonight... Getting better on the launches (once they got me staged... my front air dam was hitting the beams and messing up my staging). Jason went 10.08 tonight and although I didn't get any really good et's (just like 10.50's) I did hit 145.23 MPH! and I did get a 1.61 60'! Soon, 1.5's and 9's!

10.23@140 then blew a tranny line or something around the trans..... fluid everywhere. On the road to RPM in the morning to get it all fixed. Didn't even get a chance to turn it up. It had a LOT left over, but can't really race without trans fluid.

Ray's car is fast there is no disputing that. As for John's LPE TT car I would bet it should go into the 10's pretty easy, but it is going to tak some driving. As for Marion... It still sucks, but they don't tech too hard. Jason and I plan on renting the track a few times this year. We want to get our suspension dialed in for low 9's or maybe even an 8 or two. You already know it is just a phone call away if you want to go John. Ray, what was your best on motor? I have heard you have dipped into the 9's on spray (not sure how far). Jason and I are in the process of setting up a drag package for our cars so we can 60' better than we have been. My best 60' on the new build has been a 1.701. With 28" tall tires we are hoping to get that down into the 1.4's or better. Welcome to CR John, BTW I have a set of Nittos on rims ready to go if you wanna bring that beast to the track.
