  1. Mike Brown set a new PB this weekend at 7.19@202 Next goal is to be the fastest Outlaw 275 car in the world... No One has gone 6's on a 275 yet...
  2. Ill be there... Leaving in the am
  3. Nothing to speak of... We broke a fitting on the first one, but nothing on the second.
  4. That's really cool! Congrats on the article and the car was bad ass when I saw it at the track day!
  5. After that pass we pulled 40lbs out of the back and put it up front... that was too much... it spun... so we are going back a little... Good news is we pulled a 1.19 60' on that pass!!! and we went 4.68@165 in the 1/8th on the 275's...
  6. Cool video... Looking forward to the full one.
  7. I went 10.50 on my Bike... Little Chris with 9.61 on the same bike... amazing what 130lbs of rider will do to a bike
  8. we broke a fitting on a waste gate and broke the paint on the bumper towards the bottom... The bumper will come off and go to First Impressions Body shop to have Master Painter Mike Niehaus fix it up and Tom will spend all of about 2 minutes to replace the fitting. When we made the pass after the wheelie I went 7.68@186 or something like that on 19.7lbs of boost... not too bad really
  9. We are just trying to keep it alive... you got to remember this isn't your average street car here anymore.... we have started leaning it out believe it or not... we were richer than it is now.
  10. This weekend we went the the Lingenfelter Performance nationals and in short we had a great weekend! The track was Amazing! The event was great! And my team was second to none! I cannot thank all of those that have helped me get here enough... IPS Motorsports and RPM Transmissions have been in support of my car since we first built it and I cannot thank the owners and employees of these companies enough. Without great vendors like you this could not have been done! Over the years we have also picked up some other great sponsors and would like to thank them as well! The Drive Shaft Shop, AllPro Heads, Garrett Turbos, Tial, BigStuff3, RacePak, MSD, MickeyThompson Tires, Wiseco pistons and PTP Racing. Thanks for all of your support! I also want to personally thank Tom Willing from IPS Motorsports who crewed my car this weekend with the help of Bob Williams from AllPro Heads and Patrick Barnhill from PTP Racing. Each of these guys helped crew, tune, and stage the car this weekend. We entered 2 classes this weekend, 1st on Saturday the Super Car class, this class was for 2006 or newer Z06's, ZR1's, Ford GT's, and Vipers. We finished 1st in this class on Saturday. We raced and won the Outlaw Drag Radial class which was a mixture of 1500-3000rwhp cars. We finished 1st and set a bunch of new records in the Semi Finals. Over the weekend the car ran times that could only be compared to a Bracket car.... Consistancy is not an issue with this build! 7.14@212 7.11@210 7.10@210 7.10@211 7.09@212 60's were 1.25-1.30 1/8ths were 4.74-4.80 at around 166 MPH We also did another thing that I have been told just cannot be done on an IRS car... We put the car up in the air on the back wheels! I have a ton of videos and pictures from the weekend, I expect to have something quick edited up today, but for now, here are some of the other peoples videos that have already been posted on youtube...
  11. I talked to those guys... they actually just put the motor back in the car the night before... very impressive for what they were working with. It is a nice car and doing well. anyway, for those that came here to see stuff about my car, here are some videos for you... Looks like the guy that posted the videos blocked them from in frame so here are some links...
  12. They went mid 7's? nm found the video... car went 7.98@174 not bad at all
  13. We had a great outing at the LS Holley Fest this past weekend... We Qualified #1 in Drag Radial with a 7.61@203 pass but were running fast all weekend. Our best pass of the outing was a 7.47@206 and almost every pass we made was over 200MPH. I did loose in the semi finals when I pushed through the beem and staged deep. This caused me to go red by .049 giving the round to Mark Kholer from the Ohio Boys. Reaction times from this weekend were .071 .016 .056 .265 .102 -.049 We weren't able to pour the power on early (my car doesn't hook like Ray's), so we had a lot of power out early and only ran 1.4x 60's this weekend (normally around 1.2x) and our 1/8 mile best was only a 5.06 (my best is 4.74 but am normally in the 4.80-5.00 range) Here are some pictures... I'll have videos up soon http://carlyleracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/burnout-3-300x200.jpg http://carlyleracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/burnout-300x199.jpg http://carlyleracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/burnout2-300x200.jpg http://carlyleracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/launching-300x200.jpg http://carlyleracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/me-vs-mark-300x200.jpg http://carlyleracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/staging-300x200.jpg
