What Traxxas toys do you have for sale?
atomicfusion1647545515 replied to Rhett's topic in Other Stuff
I have raced at CRCRC before... it is fun, but you can't really go "fast". -
I have 2 HD's and 1 SD model... I run the HD's front and back on the car and the SD for in car footage. We have a lot of races recorded and get great info from them. I use the suction cup mounts and haven't had any come off yet (up to 184mph traps) I like them.

That looks painful... I last time I flew my Helo, I hit a light pole and bent the main shaft... haven't fixed it in over a year. I'm in for the RC drags though... bring your money!

any idea on payouts yet?
-
I can say that this will be the closest race in the class for me and the Ohio boys and probably even for Ray... So I'd expect to see those cars if the payouts are decent. I know that any of those 4 cars should be high 4's low 5's.
-
I'd say that you are going to want to be in the 4.80-5.25 range in the 1/8 mile for either OLS or X275 if any of the cars we race up in Milan come. But those cars showing up will really depend on scheduling and payouts.

Get your cars ready for the 2012 LSX Series...
atomicfusion1647545515 replied to atomicfusion1647545515's topic in Events
I am pretty sure it will be Bradenton FL Joliet IL Bowling Green Ky Indianapolis IN These are a great time and if you have an LS anything you should make at least the last 2 races. The Bowling Green Race is ONLY LS cars and is always a blast. -
Just got off the phone with Steve from the NMCA and he said it was looking good for another LSX Series for 2012. Although he said it wasn't 100% yet, what he did say was that it was looking pretty good. He also said that they were going to try to spread out the races a little better. He eluded to a potential schedule that looked like Mid March Florida June (unknown location, but I'd guess the same place as the June NMCA Race which would be Either IL-My vote or MD if the same as this year) September LS Fest in BG again October LSX Shootout I for one enjoyed the races this year and think that if we have this extra notice we should be able to get more guys done in time for a better turnout. Come March I will be pretty sick of the Ohio winter and ready for a nice "Spring Break" I personally would like to say thanks to GM Performance Parts, Scogging Dickey, the NMCA, Holley, Mr. Gasket, GMHTP and all the other sponsors that make this series possible.

I wanna see the pics of it with all the shit peeled off...

Well, We already knew that the motor was coming out after Indy, and now that has been done. The car sits at the shop, just a shell of what it once was. Over the years we have accomplished many things, but we have only just begun to scratch the surface of what will be the ultimate drag build in a C6. The new build may as well be called the billet build, since the heart will be a Kurt Urban spec'd Billet Dart Block topped with AllPro's 12 -1 heads. Rotating the power will be a Billet Center Balanced Crank, connected to the Diamond Pistons will be some of the Baddest rods ever to live inside a LS Motor. When we started planning this build I was asked "How fast do you want to go?" My answer was 6.99! IPSMotorsports will be building me a custom Twin Turbo kit with Twin Billet 88MM Turbos and a 3000HP Air To Water Intercooler. RPMTransmissions will be transferring the power through thier TH400 Race trans and C6Z Diff to my Drive Shaft Shop Axles by way of my Drive Shaft Shop Drive Shaft. We will be taking over 200lbs out of the car this year getting the race weight to under 3400lbs for the first time since I went forced induction. When the LS Series Comes around next year, you better mark your calendars, because if this baby doesn't adjust the rotation of the world, then we will just have to crank up the boost just a little more. Stay tuned as I add pictures of the parts, chassis work, turbo fab, motor install, and everything else as it happens.

Give me a call tomorrow Ray and let me know how it turned out...

atomicfusion1647545515 replied to atomicfusion1647545515's topic in Passing Lane
The shootout is just over in Indy Oct 6-9th. ERL wasn't happy about it, but said they understand that I have to do what isbest for me. -
Out with the new back in with the Old...
atomicfusion1647545515 replied to atomicfusion1647545515's topic in Passing Lane
We expect that the LSX block with the new solid roller setup will be much better than the ERL setup was... we were actually down about 300rwhp the whole time we had the ERL block in the car. We are really ready to make more power and go faster. -
We are putting the LSX block back in the car for the LSX Shootout with some upgrades... Brand new ALLPro heads with the best of everything in them, Solid roller cam, Solid roller rockers and lifters. We will be using the same bottom end we were running when we set the world record and adding a new and improved top half to to the motor for more power and more RPM! It is going to be tight, but once we get her back together, we should be able to do what we have been waiting all year for! More to come...
