  2. i saw it for a few minutes, my friend said he thought they might be from a disney channel show
  3. i didnt read all the posts, as far as i saw it was fwd so if it is awd then its a good step as long as its somewhat sport oriented and not some terrible, safety oriented design say like on bwms
  4. what a joke, all awd and rwd guys make this out to be way worse than it really is. a lsd, intermediate shaft, and equal length axles and my car pulls dead straight everytime. to ford....v6 tt and 350 is a very weak showing when nissan just came out with a 330hp NA v6. and why are u trying to make a sporty (i say sporty not sports) car that is still fwd. is this to compete against the tl, which i think is behind the times? if so, they are really aiming high
  5. yea from what ive heard there are few people that can tune cobb because the protuner takes a 5000 dollar license from cobb or something like that
  6. i have 1-4 straight cut with a stock 5th. all syncro'ed. 1-4 make a whine noise like a supercharger on accel and decel, but they shift way better than stock trans and never grind. if u can find straight cut with syncro and dont mind the supercharger sound i def recommend them as the teeth can be made way thicker than helically cut gears post 116 and 124 have pictures comparing the stock gears to the straight cuts i have http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=548884&page=5
  7. when i get c16 its normally 11-13 dollars per gallon
  8. heard about it on the radio the other day. kinda gives me the same feeling of cops abusing power as those videos of cops choking little kids with skateboards
  9. pwr i got one custom from slowmo id call them
  10. last year i ran 12.3 at 124 on my daily rsx. drove it 13,000 miles in 2007. rebuilt for low 11's maybe 10s in the spring now
  11. i think i saw on slowmotion's forum that someone knows of a dealer or shop that is closing and will be selling 10-15 lifts in the very near future
  12. P=W/T where P=power W=work and T=time W = integral of F*D*S F=force d=distance s=postition vector or d*s = change in distance F = M*A M=mass A=acceleration just for fun T=R*F T=torque R=force's distance from the lever's fulcrum or level length all boils down to P=T*angular speed (rpm) basically work is what is takes to move and object and power is that work in relation to time. so more power will do the same work in a shorter time ie move your car a set distance in a shorter period of time or move it further in a set period of time (or both). so in total ur current setup would pull a little bit at VERY first against the new setup at first till the power of the new setup becomes higher than the power of the old setup. figure u pickup 50 wtq in 600 rpms to put u at 550wtq at 3800rpm / 5252 = 397whp. that should be enough power start to reel in the old setup holding other things constant, traction will be a bit more difficult and the longer gear ration will accelerate a little bit slower but without doing a lot more math i would guess the new setup would be able to reel in the maybe half car to one car at most length the old set up would jump within 1000 rpm in second gear in the new setup. hope that makes some sense i kinda rambled
  13. if its a 2.4L k-series it could definitely be on only 15psi im just surprised it hooked up pretty well
  14. lets seea graph id like to see the curve on that set up
  15. u prolly just got water in it not completely ruined it make sure its dry and get new plugs
  16. gt35r will be way more laggy than ur stock unit. turbos are a trade off of lag for top end so if u want good top end u will have to deal with some lag first. if u want almost instant boost u will have to have a smaller turbo which will fall off top end. with that said there are some set ups that do both better than others. for example i run a 60-1 t3/t4 by turbonetics, nothin special but fairly good sized turbo. i made 502whp at 8300 rpm but i have to wait till about 4000rpm to get full boost. had i gone with a smaller turbo such as the greddy kit for my car which uses a 14g mitsu turbo like the stock evo just a little smaller i could have full boost at between 2500 and 3000rpm but couldnt make much more than 315 whp.
  17. t3/t4 is a very broad term for any turbo that uses a t3 exhaust flange and a t4 compressor side. u need to find specific turbo measurements for anyone to give u a comparison worth anything. gt35r's come with both a t3 exhaust side or a t4 depending on what u order and i believe there will soon be a twin scroll t4 gt35r. do not buy a turbo off ebay if it just says t3/t4, thats just standard ebay garbage. look up AMSperformance.com they have some of the best stuff for evo's, them and buschur which i see u already know. i believe someone around here made 500+ whp on a stock engine evo with a gt3582r (i think)
  18. wanted to come, wanted to take the fwd boosted class but gf was angry about too much car stuff lately. damn. ill make the next one hopefully but i dont know if u guys will have another before spring
  19. im probably gonna bring mine in make sure its still pulling as strong as in the spring
  20. yea while i work valet downtown i talk to the meter guy a lot and he said he can and sometimes will give tickets for no front plate while parked because u are parked on a public street so u have to have the plate just as if u were driving. funny thing once i had a car parked with no plate at all front or back and he said he cant give tickets for that because they wont let him write the VIN so there is no way to id the car sooo long story short if u park on the street without a front, remove and hide ur back and he cant ticket u hahah.
