Well I have it set up and you're right word does travel fast lol. It started out as just a group of us here in Newark that are all into cars and hang out, to now everyone is wanting to donate money/toys. Toys R Us lets the local bikers use the lot for their event in November so I don't see why they wouldnt allow us to meet there for an hour, especially since most toys will be bought from with in the store and we're not asking them to donate anything. I'd be pumped if we could come up with a couple thousand dollars worth of toys, thats a ton of toys if you spend the money right lol.

You have to do a background check in order to buy a gun legally (shouldnt have used the word license I guess). If you want to keep exotic animals then start a zoo that is checked on monthly. There are certain things that should just be left to a professional. I remember a local family having a Kangaroo and thought it was pretty cool, there is a place on rt 37 that has a zebra, thats pretty harmless, but a wild cat and or bear that could rip anyone posting on this board to shreds is better left in its natural habitat or in a zoo. It only takes 1 jackass to ruin it for everyone. This bill was on the books before this event happened. This event just opened up the eyes to everyone that it needed to be put into effect. A gun has a trigger theres 1 difference, it requires bullets theres 2, its not a wild animal (3) and requires a license to purchase one (4) Yeah I have a pit as well, actually got him off a poster on here back in December. Ohio State football player Jaamal Berry has been named a suspect in an alleged assault that occurred Friday morning, according to a report from the Columbus Police Department. It is the second incident involving Berry allegedly assaulting another individual in less than a month. The latest incident occurred at 2:20 a.m. Friday on Vine Street, behind North Market, and involved a 21-year-old non-OSU student. The victim was "struck in the face with a closed fist," according to the Columbus police report. Berry, a redshirt sophomore running back, was with another African-American male and was allegedly yelling at the victim and his friend, after the victim was struck by a car. The victim, who The Lantern has chosen not to name at this time, said that Berry and his friend were yelling vulgar remarks at him. After asking why they were yelling, the victim said that Berry crossed the street and punched his friend, and then punched him in the face with a closed fist. Berry was later identified by a witness, and the alleged victim said he confirmed Berry's identity when shown a picture by police. The victim's mother, who requested anonymity, said she spoke with Gene Smith, OSU athletic director, about the incident on Friday afternoon. Smith said that the athletic department is aware that Berry might have been involved in an altercation. "We have not been informed by anyone else that charges have been filed," Smith told The Lantern Monday. "If Jaamal is charged, he will be suspended pending the outcome of the case." Berry and other witnesses involved did not immediately respond to The Lantern's requests for comment. I am a pretty charitable guy and especially soft when it comes to kids and christmas. So I thought why not organize a local Toys For Tots Cruise, I have contacted the Salvation Army so step 1 has been done (charity we're going to donate to). I am in the process of contacting Toys R Us to make sure we can use their lot (Step 2), now here's where I am sort of confused. Do you have to be a legit orginization in order to do one of these? Basically this event is being put on by me and about 40-60 other car people. We do not have an orginization or a website, were just a group of car guys that want to help some kids out this Christmas. If you have ever set one of these type of events up, what steps/procedures did you take in order to make it successful?

yeah I went back and edited that lol. I think OSU has only beat 2 top 25 teams at night, 06 #2Texas and 08 #18 Wisconsin, that could be wrong but I couldn't find rankings from other years.I thought Iowa was ranked in 06 but ESPN doesn't show them being so..

I should've rephrased that a little better. They haven't been real great in night games at home during the last 10 years. "16-10 in night games in 10 years under coach Jim Tressel and 8-3 in road Big Ten night games." That means they were 8-7 at home at night under Tressell. Theres where I get my "struggle in night games", should've said "in recent years at home" And no not all those games are against "premier" competition, there are plenty of times we play the likes of Indiana or Minnesota at night.
