  1. Akron Toledo Colorado Indiana Purdue Illinois Michigan St Michigan Northwestern Penn St ^^ All teams Boise would beat week in and week out. Hell i'd even toss in Nebraska and Wisconsin too....Boise would be 3-0 right now instead of 2-1, I would put any ammount of money on that.
  2. Put Boise in a state where they can recruit and land the NFL calibar players that teams in the SEC, Big 10 and Big12 do and then what? Would there be an excuse as to why they are winning then? They are just as good now as they would be then, thats my whole argument, they are beating better teams on paper, with less talent on a yearly basis now. Put them in the Big12 and they are either the champ or runner up, they would destroy Texas, Baylor, A&M, TTU and would give Oklahoma a run for their money. Put them in the Pac 12 and they are the champs! Oregon wouldn't beat them, neither would stanford or USC.... The only conference that I don't think they wouldn't win yearly would prob be the SEC, but then again who the hell wins that conference on a yearly basis anyways Think of it in highschool ball terms, you have a D6 team that dominates other D6 teams, then comes up and beats a few D1 schools, the argument is "well if we played those D6 teams we'd be champs too", ok well they are a D6 team that just beat a D1 schools ass. The D6 school has far less boys to choose from compared to the D1 school (they base divisions in highschool on male population in the school), yet they are doing more with less. There should be no excuses.
  3. Another good sounding car is the Ford Fiesta that Ken Block drives
  4. My Integra, simply because it sounds like a bike when I open it up. I do have a soft spot for the sound of a mustang as well
  5. I'm just using OSU as an example. I feel Boise would beat any team in the country no matter when the game was played.
  6. My argument is what elite team does OSU face at the end of the year? Michigan? Also don't Boise have the same ammount of time to prepare for their bowl opponent as their bowl opponent does? Isn't the excuse of "well we had 54 day lay over before the bowl game, thats why OSU lost" used an awful lot by Buckeye fans? I am a die hard Buckeye fan, but god damn some if not most of their fans drive me absolutely nuts with their homerish statements and excuses. Plain and simple Boise is a legit team and will beat another BCS school in whatever BCS game they play in this year. Kellen Moore is the 2nd best qb in college football if not the best (Luck is pretty damn good too) and Peterson is 1 hell of a coach. Boise absolutely destroyed Toledo, while OSU barely squeeked by, thats a common opponent that they both had the same ammount of time to prepare for, no excuses for that at all.
  7. Think about it, Ohio St has had one of the most dominating defenses in the last 10 years even while replacing stud after stud. This years defense isn't all that bad either and thats considering they are really fucking young and inexpierence and have 1 starter out with injury. I think Fickell is coaching nervously and it showed against Miami. He is in a bad situation and getting a lot of un-needed heat. No coach in America would've done better saturday night given the turmoil that is around this team. Idc who you name because it would've been the same result a loss to Miami. The sad part is OSU was still in the game heading into the 4th quarter, if Christian Bryant makes the interception instead of stone handing it, theres 7 points for sure cause he was gone with no one in front of him. OSU is then only down by 4. I think a lot of pressure would've been released and OSU would've mustered up a drive to win the game. oh well can't change shit now Also I don't think the Big 10 is looking into expanding that heavily. I was watching ESPN earlier and Joe Shaad said the only team that the B10 is really looking at would be ND, if ND would join then the big10 would look to expand even further, but if not then they will stay at 12 teams
  8. Blood red- I will check out the petting zoo for sure, my son loves animals. We have the cheese factory planned already lol. I just want some home made style food damnit. We used to have an amish restraunt here in town called Millers, but they didn't feel the need to pay taxes and got their shit shut down haha.
  9. Went to Nelsonville for the train ride yesterday. It was a good time for sure, I recomend it to others for sure. The ride last a little over 2hrs and includes a stop at a village set up much like Roscoe Village. They have actors dressed up in 1800 attire, a blacksmith and general store. The general store sold the best Root Beer I have ever drink. It was so good that I am now wishing I had brought a few bottles home. That is saying a lot considering I am usually not a fan of pop to begin with. The only negative thing I could say towards the train ride is the scenery. You really don't get to see a whole lot of the hills or anything, you do get to see a lot of rundown houses though. Its kind of an eye opener just how poor towns and people are in Ohio. The residents at the homes appeared to be very friendly though, they just waved and waved as the train passed by. How they live in a house that is 10ft away from train tracks is beyond me, the noise would annoy the piss out of me. They have several carts in which you can ride in. The paticular one we rode in had open sides which made the expierence much more enjoyable. I give this trip a 8/9 out of 10. Not bad for $16 a piece (kids under 2 were free), we had 50 bucks in the entire day, that included 2 train passes, lunch at subway (God I love the rewards card) and a souvenier patch for our son (he has a blanket that my grandma is making him with patches of all the places he has been). 1. I thought this sign was pretty cool http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/train.jpg 2. The engine that lead the train, they said it makes 1500hp and can reach speeds of 60mph, but they never go over 20mph http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/train2-1.jpg 3. The cart we sat in (sorry for the suns glare) http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/train2.jpg 4. A view of the hills along the trip http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/scenery.jpg 8. They stop at a place called Robins Crossing which is pretty much like Roscoe Village. They have actors potrying 1800 living, a black smith and a store that sold the best rootbeer I have ever drink. My son liked it so much that he stole the bottle from me http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/tysonandtacara3.jpg 9. My son was a little tired of riding on the train so decided to give my shoulders a shot http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/meandtyson.jpg
  10. I would keep a few of them if I were the next headcoach. Fickell, Vrable and Heacock would head the defense for sure. I would also keep Stan Drayton as he seems to be pretty good with recruiting. Outside of that cya!!
  11. I have done a lot of things in my life and suprisingly I had never went on a train ride. So yesterday we loaded up and headed to Nelsonville to go on one. I couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise, it was perfect and our son was a champ the entire trip, just sat there taking everything in, not bad for a 15 month old haha. Not the best pictures but you get the idea haha. We are going to go back again this year and take the trip during the fall, or possibly go up to Cuyahoga county and do their train trip. 1. I thought this sign was pretty cool http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/train.jpg 2. My son was a little tired of riding on the train so decided to give my shoulders a shot http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/My%20Photos/meandtyson.jpg Overall it was pretty fun, the only thing I have bad to say against it is you don't see a whole lot of the Hocking region. You do see a lot of run down houses and realize just how bad the economy is in Nelsonville. The residents seemed pretty friendly as they all waved when the train passed by. The trip was 22 miles round trip and lasted a little over 2hrs. Not bad for $16 a piece (kids under 2 were free), we had 50 bucks in the entire day, that included 2 train passes, lunch at subway (god I love the rewards card) and a souvenier patch for our son (he has a blanket that my grandma is making him with patches of all the places he has been). We also checked out Rocky Boots store. I am not a huge fan of Rocky boots and camoflauge attire, but it was pretty cool to check it out as well. 3 floors of stuff to look at. Overall a pretty good trip.
  12. 1-2 losses: He keeps it 3-4 losses: its a toss up 5+ losses: forget about it he's gone
  13. Me, my wife and our son along with a few friends are going to Amish country on saturday. I am simply going for the food haha, has anyone here ever went before? If so where are some good places to eat at and also what should we check out (I don't wanna hear, check out everything) haha. I think they offer buggy rides which we might do with our son but not sure.
  14. Yeah I dont know how its going to work out, do you have 64 power teams in D1 and then put everyone else in "d1a"? I mean there are going to be a lot of teams left out super conferences and I just don't see this working out well for college sports. Do you make a level just for the power conferences and then another sub-division for those that aren't in one?
  15. Boise would beat every team in the big 10 /debate. The only 2 that would give them a ball game are Nebraska and Wisky, and really I only see Wisky giving them a game because Nebraska's qb doesn't impress me like Russell Wilson has. BTW how about the big east teams going to the ACC? That conference is a super conference now.......in basketball!! There is talk that UConn is next to go to the ACC. Look at this from a basketball standpoint Duke North Carolina Uconn Syracuse Pitt Those are 5 teams that are usually 1 and 2 seeds in the tournament, thats scary. Plus the woman of UConn would roll through the ACC much easier then they did the big least. Also word is the Pac 12 is going to eventually land Texas and Oklahoma, that leaves the big 10 with who? Missouri, Kansas, Rutgers....ah I hate this shit
  16. The scary thing is if Bauserman is 1 and Miller is 2, how bad can the 3rd and 4th string guys be?
  17. I hate to break it to you but Indiana and Purdue are doormats that other teams would love to play just to beat up on. Like I said the b10 is not some dominant league these days, theres a big drop off after the top 2-4 Sad to see the Bucks out of the top 25, but they'll be back in with a win over Colorado and MSU. Theres a ton of big games coming up with ranked teams playing one another and knocking each other off.
  18. OSU plays about the same ammount of quality teams, that is the other thing, everyone acts like the big10 is some gauntlet. Its not the SEC for gods sake lol, OSU plays 2 ranked teams this year for sure (Wisky/Nebraska), the same ammount of ranked teams that Boise is going to face (UGA and TCU). OSU wins with 4 and 5 star recruits, Boise does it with 2 and 3 stars.
  19. The thing that bugs me the most about this situation, is the fans trying to compare it to 08 when Pryor was a freshman. The 08 team had 2 NFL WR's and a NFL running back to help ease Pryor into the situation, this team currently has neither of those things. Yes they will be better once Posey and Boom come back, but until then I can see 3-2 going into Nebraska (hoping for 4-1). Also anyone that thinks Braxton is better then Pryor as a freshman is high as fuck, I understand we've only seen a little bit of Braxton, but that little bit has shown me he is no where near the athlete that Pryor was. BTW there are a ton of amazing games coming up next week, just saw a posting on scout, look at these "These are current rankings btw, they will be changing soon as new polls are released #3 LSU vs #18 West Virginia #5 Florida St vs Clemson (could be upset of the week, will FSU be down in dumps after tonight?) #8 Oklahoma St vs #9 Texas A&M #14 Arkansas vs #2 Alabama 3 top 25 teams are going down for sure, 1 top 10 team and potentially 2 more top 10 teams are dropping as well. Buckeyes don't start til 3:30, enjoy some other games!!" Oh hey Bricranium (what is your real name lol) how about Boise St putting a beatdown on Toledo? I didn't know this til last night, but their Sr class is currently 40-2 and Moore is 5 wins away from being winningest qb in college history over Colt McCoy
  20. The defense allowed 115 yards rushing by 1 player in the 1st quarter!!! They were less then spectacular to say the least. All around pretty much what I expected, the homer inside me though they would pull out the W, but inside I didn't expect much. I still think 4 losses is a real possibility with this team. The offensive weapons are just not there at all this year, and its totally different then the 02 team, atleast that team had a guy name Clarrett. BTW anyone wanna doubt me now that Michigan St would lose to ND?
  21. Hall has already been named the starting running back for saturdays game, so I would venture to say you will see him and Howard. Brown is a backup that wasn't going to see the field this year anyways. Nathan Williams is out due to injury, but reports are coming out that he and Braxton Miller were at the same charity event. Hall named starter: http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=145&f=3154&t=7925225 Williams/Miller story: http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=145&f=3154&t=7925812
  22. Bwahahaha is that for real? If so wow, did no one watch the Maryland game? OSU is leap years better then Maryland, yet Maryland was better in every catagory listed above lol
  23. Word is Mr. Pryor was the one that actually handed the envelopes to the players, straight fromt he boosters mouth too.
