Alright kinda lost as to what my options are here. Heres the deal: I have a buddy in Alabama, he sent me a text asking if I had any b16 heads laying around. I tell him not but I can find you one. So I source a b16 head locally and go check it out. Kid says he just got it on trade and planned on using it for an LS/VTEC but decided to sell it and buy paint materials instead. I check it out and it appears to be ok to the naked eye. So I buy it, come home package it up and ship it out. Yesterday I get a text from my buddy saying he got the head and upon taking it to the machine shop to be cleaned up discovered the cam journals are destroyed and beyond repair. He say he can ship the head back so he can get his money back. I tell him that ill get ahold of the kid I got it from and tell him whats going on and try to settle it. Well i finally get ahold of the kid tonight, and he's telling me "idk what you want me to do, I spent the money on paint" "you looked at the head and didn't say anything about anything" yadda yadda yadda.... My questions are, Can I take this kid to small claims court for selling me a bogus part and not wanting to work with me? Or am I pretty much fucked and out 300 bucks?

Just curious, it seems every time I turn around on this or that forum someone is posting about beating a world record, or damn near beating one. Where do you guys find information on current car 1/4 mile world records? I wanna find the world record for fastest 1/4mile 4dr Integra, but haven't been able to find much of anything. Not that I plan on breaking world records, just curious as to what that record actually is.

I appriciate all the feedback, gonna look into some of the places listed and try one of them out

I didnt have any issues with my Jegs proflo line splitting either. When your tightening the fitting onto the hose are you reverse threading it on there? I reverse threaded mine on there and have had 0 issues

Landlords=assholes when you tell them your moving. I had one try charging me to repaint the apartment. I painted the entire apartment before moving and had reciepts showing I bought paint. i was smart enough to put it on my dads Sherwin Williams account under "Josh's Apartment". Then she tried charging me for tile chewed up by her uneven floor and her dryer that was sitting on it. Then tried charging me for oil that was from one of my guest vehichles, she took pictures of oil flowing uphill lol. Yes there was oil in front of my Dads jeep which was parked downhill, I never knew oil flowed up hill. A general cleaning bill of 25per hr was attatched to the bill, which I laughed at since we cleaned the apartment and steam cleaned the caprets with our cleaner. The best one was she tried charging me 5 bucks per light bulb (none were blown out when I left) and a $50 dollar hauling fee to throw a lamp away, the same lamp I was using to light the apartment while I painted the damn place. By hauling she meant taking 5 steps out back and tossing into the apartment complex's trash can. she accused me of running a chop shop and a business out of my apartment lol. We ended up breaking the lease and moved out due to all the bullshit, she tried charging me for rent even after she had the apartment rented out, again against the law. Basically she thought since me and my gf were only 18 she could dick us over, helps having family that rent houses out. I am waiting on my current landlord to attemp to jack the rent up here when our 2nd lease is up (July). I'll tell her to eat a dick and be moving if that happens. They are slow as fuck to come fix shit when it breaks, half the time I end up fixing it before they show up.
