  2. Our dog has discovered finally that he can pull the post out of the ground that his cable is attached to when he is outside. I don't really wanna spend a fortune in this, free is my favorite word lol. I am gonna check craigslist as well to see what I can find but figured I would post up on here. Ill take post, fence whatever you wanna get rid of.
  3. Haha you sir are correct! Snow Cones for the win!!
  4. is your spark plug tube filling up with oil? I take it thats what you mean by Oil Fouled, if so try the spark plug gromets before dumping thousands and thousands into a rebuild because trust me your about to do just that.
  5. 4/19/10: Anyone wanna take a guess as to what I plan on doing tomorrow? http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/WelderandHelmet.jpg
  6. Haha oh look my old Mustang! Dustin is a douche bag just gonna pre-warn everyone, he once tried touching me where I pee and then threw a fit cause I wouldn't let him. Oh btw just joking Dustin is a cool guy!!
  7. I just wanna know who took the spy shots of my car... 4 wide legal racing FTW!
  8. I have the "el cheapo, universal jegs box" and have 0 issues with it. Came with plenty of wire, sealed box that passes NHRA track inspection. As for the kill switch you need one that kills both the battery and the altenator. T1 Race Development sells a nice killswitch, heres the details for those to lazy to click the link:" This kit allows you to meet NHRA safety guidelines when a battery cutoff switch is required. The kit is based around a 200amp continuous duty electronic solenoid that has been thoroughly track tested and can handle tire shake and vibration without coming unlatched Installation on the kit is much easier than a typical battery cutoff switch. The solenoid is generally mounted close to the battery. You have 4 poles on the solenoid, 2 big and 2 small. It acts just like a big relay. One of the big poles goes to the battery positive and one goes to the rest of the car. You're essentially just putting this solenoid inline on your regular power cable coming from the battery. You need to make sure your alternator output wire is going directly to the battery now as it will keep the car running when the solenoid is turned off otherwise. The small posts are your switched power and ground. You'll send a constant 12v power source to one post and a switched ground to the other post. It doesn't matter which source goes to which post on the small posts, just that one is 12v and one is ground. When 12v and ground are applied, the two big posts are connected. Your switched ground wire will run from the small post to the rear of the car, to one pole of the switch. The other pole of the switch will be wired to a chassis ground in the rear of the car. Can be bought here: http://www.t1racedevelopment.com/en/products/details/187/101/battery-cutoff-kits/t1-battery-cutoff-kit.html
  9. Thanks man!! i am getting pretty close to driving this damn thing, just a lot of man hours ahead of me at this point along with a few misc parts.
  10. I have snapped timing belts on D15b2, d16a6, d16z6, b18a1 and b18c1.....only 1 that bent valves was the b18c1. My dad just snapped timing belt on his d15 last summer and didnt bend any valves.
  11. Jegs kit!! Comes with everything you need and is NHRA sanctioned which is a big thing if you plan on taking your car to the track.
  12. Umm have you checked the spark plug grommets? Im basing this question off your statement of "the plugs get fouled with oil" Hondas are notorious for this, hell our Dodge Neon just had to have the grommets on valve cover fixed tonight because it was filling the spark plug tubes up with oil and causing the car to run like shit. 2.82 compared to 7k is worth looking into in my opinion P.S if it ends up being spark plug grommets I accept paypal so please send 7k my way!! 205716 004 004 SEAL, SPARK PLUG TUBE (NOK) 3.92 2.82 @ http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&catcgry1=S2000&catcgry2=2002&catcgry3=2DR+S2000&catcgry4=KA6MT&catcgry5=CYLINDER+HEAD+COVER Oh as for new block: $2748 from same site...Majestic Honda FTW!!
  13. Didnt you just get this car finally up and running?
  14. 4/16/10: One of the last packages I was waiting on finally arrived!! The quad-pods I got from Mike showed up today. Let me start by once again thanking Mike the owner of quad-pod. Secondly let me tell you how nice these things are in person, pictures do them no justice honestly. The color of the clock pod is identical to the Tan dashes some of us Teg owners rock. Lastly the gauge holes are perfect dimensions with no flaws. The items were packaged nice and securely with lots of bubble wrap, peanuts and air packs inside the box. For those interested again the website is http://www.quad-pod.com. Check my first page as well for more contact info such as email and username for Mike. Be sure to tell him that guy_from_nerk or Josh Moore sent you!! 15. I have 0 use for either of these things so they must go. D16z6 (92-95 EX/SI) distributor pulled from running car that was crunched in the rear. It does need a rotor button (I took the screw from this one for my GSR since advance is too cheap to give you a new screw with rotor button) $40 picked up takes this http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/101_0171.jpg Next up I have a MSD (GM Style) 3 Bar Map Sensor. I bought this last year from Slowmotion and used it for 1500 miles on my turbo crx with absolutely no issues. I have recently went with a 4bar that mounts on my TB so I don't need this thing. $45 picked up takes it Gotta move these parts so I can get my teg up and running by end of month
  16. Dana threatens to fire Silva: http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/cagewriter/post/White-says-Silva-will-be-cut-if-he-repeats-UFC-1?urn=mma,234279
  17. Engine bay is going to be fully shaved and painted in the next week or so. Just picked up a new welder. I have a 100lb sand pot so I am going to sandblast the engine bay to remove any grease/grime then go from there lol. I am going to be replacing every bolt and washer under the hood too, I am anal about engine bays. I could care less what the rest of the car looks like as long as the engine bay looks good.
  18. 4/15/10: Tax day is amongst us....so lets all get car parts!! The differential bearings I ordered from MFactory arrived today, also the 3/4 Slider I ordered from Synchrotech arrived as well. I also went down to the powder coaters to check status of my parts I had dropped off down there, they are going same gold color as my valve cover btw. They will be done by saturday!!! Differential Bearings and Slider: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0235.jpg Subframe and Motor Mounts in primer at powder coaters: (Front) http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/subframe2.jpg (Back) http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/subframe.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/mountsprimed.jpg Oh yeah also had my clutch master cylinder done (hey it was free to do lol). Here is a before and after: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0218-1.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0237.jpg
  19. 4/14/10: Wire tucking 101: Do not do this lol!! God what a pain in the ass this is to do, oh well its done now! 2 hours spent working on this today and got it 90% complete, just gotta hook up engine harness once I get motor in the car and its done. Started the day off by removing the front bumper: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0230.jpg After that I cut the grommets that hold the harnesses in place so I could pull them through the firewall: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0228.jpg After that I had to seperate the harness between engine harness and headlight harness. Once that was done I took the fenders off the car so I could run the harness along the frame rail. While the fender was off I decided to paint the frame rail black out of boredom lol: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0231.jpg This is what it looks like without the harnesses in the engine bay: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0233.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0229.jpg I had to extend 4 wires on the driver side for the headlight harness. Heres my dad lending a hand and soldering the wires: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0232.jpg After that I test fit everything 1 more time just to make sure all plugs reached their destination. After that put the fenders back on and boom it was done: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0234.jpg For those wondering I didn't have to depin any harnesses in order to pull them through the holse in firewall or in the hole from cabin to frame rail (hole where speaker wires go). With a little twisting they all fit through, just takes patience (which I am learning to have from this build lol).
  20. Yeah I got a hookup on the mounts pricewise through swapshopracing.com I wish I wouldn't have gotten the anodized gold (paid a little extra) because I have now taken them to the powder coater to be color matched to valve cover lol.
  21. Yeah I watch WEC, I actually like watching it more then I do UFC. I think the problem honestly is UFC has no serious competition thus they can put out whatever watered down bullshit they want to and people will still watch because there really is no alternative. Same thing happened with pro wrestling, WWF became a monopoly basically when they bought out WCW, now pro wrestling is terrible (not that it was very great to begin with, just using as an example lol)
  22. UFC is starting to get watered down honestly. I said this like 2 years ago that it was a trendy thing and unless some serious fighters got their chances the whole sport would suffer. Well guess what its suffering. You have Champions that cannot and will not be beat in Lesnar (hell get Carwin on ground and destroy him), GSRP and Silva...its no longer fun to watch honestly. I used to be a die hard UFC fan, hell used to drive to cbus hooters to watch it because our local bdubs didnt show it. Now I get PPV's half off at home and I still dont watch it half the time. The heavyweight division is a complete joke outside of Lesnar and Carwin (everyones on his bandwagon), after that you have who? Frank Mir? Kimbo the turle Slice? All the "stars" are getting old and there is really no up and coming guy that intrest me. Matt Hughes is retiring, Liddell is old as fuck and should have already retired, Couture is prehistoric (yes he's in great shape, he's still old)
  23. 4/9/10: The power steering bushing I ordered from Energy Suspension arrived today. Hopefully my subframe gets finished up at the powder coaters here in the next few days so I can get the bushing trimmed down to fit the manual rack on it. Also placed another order with Synchrotech and MFactory, had to buy a new 3/4 slider from synchrotech and differential bearings from MFactory. Synchrotech FTW again!! I ordered the slider and within 20mins I had an email with tracking number showing that the item had already shipped out. That is service you cannot beat!!! 4/10/10:Brake fittings galore!! All the fittings I ordered for my brake tuck arrived today. The gf also bought my brake line for me!! http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/alittlelessordinary/Car%20Pics/4dr%20GSR/101_0224.jpg
  24. MTV, VH1, ect...they all need to change their names cause they are all about the reality drama bullshit
