  1. Do you think before you speak? I get that your gimmick is that of a troll who frequents an Ohio based car page, inhabited largely by Ohio State fans, but come on man, you're not even good at this anymore. How did those 2 teams end up? OklAhoma: 10-2 TAMU: 8-4 (included losses to 5-7 Miss St and 5-7 Ole Miss)
  2. Word is Urbran requires only 2 years from an assistant before they take other positions. I just hope it doesn't hurt recruiting as a lot of it is built on relationships with position coaches. It nearly cost Ohio State Mike Weber as he was a huge Stan Drayton fan. Stan went to the bears before signing day, luckily Urban hired Alford and was able to convince Weber to come to OSU.
  3. and then there is this.. "Been following some smoke about Warinner coming from local Horns radio. Apparently, they are claiming that Warinner has silently accepted a position as OC for Herman, but will not be announced until after the Playoff. Same sources also suggest Kevin Wilson is in Columbus, and that he will likely replace Warinner as OC. Not sure which came first (or if true, honestly)." Also a guy on 11W did some searching on the student database for the early enrolle guys, Tate Martell and the others are on there. One interesting name listed wass Jeffery Okudah, KABOOM! After he made the post, some others searched and his name was gone, have a feeling it was taken down as to not steal the kids thunder since he's announcing at the AA Game in Jan
  4. OSU hired a new coach for the defense today and apparently interviewed Kevin Wilson for an offensive position. New guy is Bill Davis who has coached in the NFL for 24 years, most recently with Philly. Word is he will be working with the linebackers.
  5. USC did beat Washington pretty handidly. I watched 3 USC games this year after the Bama game and it's clear to see they aren't the same team. I am not sure anyone would want to face them at this point in time right now. Now watch, after I make that statement they shit the bed against PSU and get rolled haha. Moving forward to next year I fully expect USC to be a top 5 preseason team
  6. Ohio State is back in the playoffs with a much younger team and Tim Beck...Tim Beck for President!
  7. 2013 MSU game (Big10 Championship), not the one last year I'm not a fan of Herman, didn't know opinions weren't allowed here, i'll go sit at the other table. I think Herman's recruiting success at Houston was in part to the fact he was the hot name in the game. I think he'll have similar success at Texas in the 2018 class, but that doesn't mean I think he's going to be great at Texas. Also, I am sure it didn't hurt having Marcus Oliver's brother commit to Houston in 2014.
  8. Idk, maybe the MSU game where we completely stopped running Hyde only to lose the game? Bollman sucked for sure, but I was never sold on Herman. Do you think OSU puts up those same numbers with Barrett or Braxton at QB in the 2014 run? That's a legit question... I think Cardales arm is what aided OSU in putting up atrocious numbers, combined with the O-Line playing amazing and Zeke making himself millions. Like I said, it'll be interesting to see how he does at Texas and I will stand behind my statement of him suffering the same fate as Charlie Strong until proven otherwise. In which I will eat a bowl of crow soup
  9. While others are blown away with Herman, I have never really been a fan. I was less than enthused with his play calling while at OSU. I think he is just the hot name in CFB but may be in over his head at Texas. I have a feeling he suffers the same fate as Charlie Strong, 3 years and gone. We shall see though
  10. I don't think Urban has any interest in coaching in the NFL honestly. Not everyone wants to coach in the pros (Tressell). Urban has it made in the shade here and I fully expect this to be his last coaching gig.
  11. Im not expecting him to leave by any means but if he does i wouldnt be shocked
  12. Rumor is his wife hates living in the midwest and misses Cali..plus the Brinks truck that LA would send to his house may be enough to persuade him haha. Idk if he leaves, but man if he does Michigan fans are gonna be crying, until they hire Les Miles
  13. Harbaugh to LA? http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jim-harbaugh-leaving-michigan-for-the-rams-is-reportedly-a-very-real-possibility/?linkId=32270303
  14. Bleacher Report stating Fickell has been hired at Cincy, will become official tomorrow... Also stating he will be taking Coombs with him to be the D-Coordinator. Cincy in my opinion instantly became better. Coombs and Fickell can both recruit their asses off and Coombs is a legend in the Cincy area.
  15. I am confident Urban will find some good guys to replace any/all Ohio State loses, it just sucks because I really like Fickell. I would not be upset at all to see Tim Beck leave though.
  16. I think this is a huge blow for OSU honestly. The dude is a great recruiter and coach. As I said in my previous post it's looking like a mass exodus of coaches from OSU. It'll be interesting to see who Meyer brings in as their replacements and how well they do here.
  17. Reading that Alabama is now down to 1 scholarship QB on their roster as everyone not named Hurts has decided to transfer. Bama will be in real trouble if Hurts gets hurt..
  18. Looking like OSU is about to lose 75% of theor defensive staff if rumors come true. Schiano to USF Fickell to Cincy as HC Coombs to Cincy as DC I hear Charlie Strongs available amd has worked well with Urbam before.
  19. LOL not even the strongest/best Alabama team in last 5 years.... I also laughed when ESPN showed Alabama as being #1 in SOS, quality wins vs all those 4 loss teams
  20. 1. Bama 2. OSU 3. Washington 4. Clemson Should be 8 team field... 5. Michigan 6. Penn State 7. USC 8. Western Michigan
  21. Announcers on Fox pushing for PSU to get in to playoff. ...
  22. SEC finished with 1 undefeated team...all the others in that conference have at least 4 losses, LOLOLOL I was watching the game and they showed a poll that showed 50+% of voters don't want OSU in the playoff. Then the two dumbass announcers stated it should only be conference champions. Sounds to me like someones scared...
  23. It didn't help that Colorado's starting QB was knocked out of the game very early. I would much rather face Washington than Clemson in the playoff for some reason.
  24. 2013 was full of NFL talent 5* Safety Vonn Bell, pulled from the south and basically taken from Alabama's grasp. 2nd Round NFL pick 4* DE Joey Bosa, 1st round pick and absolute stud 4* DB Eli Apple, 1st round pick 4* QB JT Barrett, stolen out of Texas, will own just about every OSU QB record before he leaves 4* TE Marcus Baugh, came from Cali without ever visiting Ohio State. Many thought his commitment was a joke for the longest time. Future NFL player 4* DB Gareon Conley, will be playing on Sunday's next year 4* RB Ezekiel Elliot, no need to talk here haha 4* DE Tyquan Lewis, has lead the team back to back seasons in sacks. Could be playing on Sundays next year. 4* ATH Jalin Marshall, came in as a QB/WR/RB. Had some ups and downs returning punts but has found a home in the NFL with the NY Jets 4* OL Billy Price, has been solid and may be an early entree to the NFL draft this year 4* LB Chris Worley, has been really good this year and will be playing on Sundays in a couple years. 3* ATH Daron Lee, was a QB in highschool, took Fickell nearly fist fighting Urban in order to get him here. 1st round draft pick Still in the air... 4* WR James Clark, blazing speed but has battled leg injuries. Has played sparingly during the 2016 season, may have a bigger role next year? 4* DT Michael Hill, has been in the rotation this year but could improve given another year. 4* OT Evan Lisle, has been a career back up here at OSU thus far. 4* DT Tracy Sprinkle, career has been up and down. Nearly kicked off team for drug charge, named a starter this year only to get injured. Will see how he does next year. The ones who didn't really pan out 4* WR Corey Smith, battled injuries and really didn't do a whole lot in the time he was given. 4* DB Cam Burrows, he was really hampered by injuries for the better part of his time here and then just got lost in the shuffle. 4* OL Tim Gardner, committed but left before his career even started here 4* LB Trey Johnson, I was pumped when he committed and then the injury bug derailed his career. 4* LB Mike Mitchell, another one I was pumped about only to see him transfer back home due to home sickness. He then transfered at least 1 more time before I quit caring. 4* DT Donovan Munger, career ended due to blood clot issues 4* DB Jayme Thompson, transferred 4* ATH Dontre Wilson is a tweener for me. I wouldn't call him a complete bust, but given the hype he came with during his recruitment I would say it's safe to say he hasn't lived up to it. He battled injuries and has shown signs of being really good here and there. This year has been his best year in my opinion. Half of this class will end up in the NFL, 5 out of the 24 were either transfers or had careers cut short due to injuries.
  25. Each year I post on here discussing the class of 20xx, I will post the one for this years senior class (Class of 2013). It was loaded!
