The group speed contests apparently were arranged via an Internet message board devoted to amateur racing, Smith said. The Web site says it “does not condone illegal street racing.” Does it really say that somewhere on this site? I know Ohiohondas has that on their site, but I dont think I have ever seen that on this one.

Yeah that will last oh about 10mins til the first none CR member spots a lot full of cars then tells all his buddies. Define ricer as well? Is that imports or people doing stupid shit to get us kicked out

My dad owned a bar in Newark for a while and state laws are rediculous for bar owners. They are can be held responsible for you until you arrive at home. If you leave the bar smashed and they dont call you a cab they are held accountable for your actions if you get in a wreck and such. Its a crock of shit but it is what it is.

Its usually always 1 asshole that ruins it for everyone. I hate when people do burnouts while leaving or leave all their trash behind. Cmon would you like them to go into your house and be disrespectful like that. Hopefully no drama goes down tonight and everyone can just chill and enjoy cars

In not here to start shit so let that be know. So if anyone takes offence so my post I appologize. We all post on a site called ColumbusRacing, people freely post about setting up races left and right, then have pics of their cars in their signatures. Now if any ol person with a computer can stumble upon this site, read a few threads and catch on to where the racing is going down, then any cop can do the same. I dont know how they got busted, I agree with the undercover cop theory, but maybe theres a couple undercovers that frequent this site. To avoid this in the future theres a few options: 1. Goto a track on friday nights and do it legally. 2. Dont have as many cars cruise out at the same time, thus taking attention away from those racing. 3. Always send a few cars way ahead to scope out things and keep a few grandma looking cars following just incase the fuzz shows up. There is ways to be smart about doing something illegal. Im not here to say "omg you should rot in hell for street racing" cause lets face it 99% of this board either does it or has done it in the past. I dont understand why they are still being held in jail for an M1, but then again I did get to spend 14hours in jail once for a DUS, and then 10days in jail for another one that would later be taken off my record. Hopefully none of their cars are destroyed, but with recent events inolving old ladies behing hit while people were "street racing" the city could make an example out of those involved. I quit going to bars because I cant deal with drunks. My dad is a drunk and I learned at a young age that I dont play well with drunk assholes. Sometimes doing the right thing like taking their keys can get you in the wrong position and it sucks.

you dont get free tickets for going to OSU. You do get a discount however. Check craigslist thats where we usually put our student tickets up for sale. Also Henton left because he has a better shot at playing at his new school rather then sitting behind Boeckman, Bauserman and Pryor. I dont blame the kid, he'll be good. I think OSU lost a good qb, but hey it happens.

You know I was thinking about some of the people posting in this thread and it made me laugh. Oh well. Back to the topic here. And yes alot of cars that are designed for road racing arent that great in straight line racing, they are set up more for corners with lots of suspension work.
