the shop that i work for i am the only tech, and i seem to be doing just fine....well other than the fact that the place is slow as hell which is why i wanna leave.

ive been asked if i have had ase's by places that i applied for in florida, north carolina, south carolina, texas, and georgia, last year when i was desperately trying to get out of this state. this is my second year of actual shop experience, i have 2 years of school experience that counts as well.

uhh, im not arguing with you? lol and i can work on cars pretty well, most shops that ive worked for have been impressed with what i can do and how much i know for my age. am i as good as you? fuck no lol, but you also have alot of years on me as well though.

the funny thing is thats why im now just taking my tests at 19 rather than last year. i use to say the same thing then i realized that while being true, being certified allows you to sell yourself alot easier while trying to get a good job. id rather not take them but it seems to be a big thing places look for when considering hiring techs

crank pulley mounts to balancer, thats where i was thinking of going at it. mount came out of nowhere, im just tired and obviously not making sense lol.

thats why i said if the end of the bolt is sticking outve the "BACKSIDE" of the mount, thats where i was inferring to grab it with the vice grips...

cobra crank was supposed to find its way in there, excuse the fuck outve me, and didnt know about the PI heads, wasnt 100% sure what years had them. dependable 4.6 with 160k on it comes after you replace the rotating assembly and bore and hone the block. the blocks are plenty strong and will hold up to what he will throw at it. switching out to a bbf would just be a waste of time unless this thing is going to be built into a full out drag car meant for sub 10's

either get a 03-04 termie or get a 05 up gto. my personal "best bang for your buck" cars. 400hp, 6sp, IRS, just over $20k

pull the block, put forged rods and pistons in, PI head swap and then turbo it. it will cost less than the engine swap and will be very dependable and be fast as shit. if you think the 4.6 is the worst motor from ford ever you are one stupid dipshit and should probly sell your car.
