  12. ^ i always suggest to customers to do both(same axle) at the same time. saves them money, covers your ass in case for some fucked up reason you diagnose the wrong side, and saves them from being in again for the same problem on the same axle.
  13. welcome to the wonderful world of a T-5 thats about to blow. which means that the car was beat on. figure out how fast you wanna go and use that to determine whether you rebuild or get something that can take alot more TQ.
  14. if you turn right and it gets louder its a left wheel bearing(weight is loaded on the left side of the car) if you turn left and it gets louder its a right wheel bearing(weight is loaded on the right side of the car)
  15. please tell me you are joking..... op - the dust shield could possible be rubbing on the rotor but it would be making the noise all the time. sounds more like a wheel bearing. try loading the wheel bearing by getting some body roll and see if the noise gets any worse, if it does then its a wheel bearing. also you can put the car up, put your hand on the tie rod and spin the wheel, if you feel some grinding vibration then its that wheel. i use the spinning wheel method when i cant hear which wheel is making the noise while driving it.
