  1. Eibach is good for two applications. 1. If you want [sPRINGS] for your car. There may be better available, but you can't go wrong with them. 2. If you want specific rates and sizes for your competition vehicle. Their professional racing springs are top notch; they supply springs to many F1 teams. I don't see them as the *best* for any street application, unless there is no other option. But they aren't crap and I wouldn't think less of someone for running them. Now, tell me you put Tein S-Techs on your Subaru, and I'll try hard not to :gtfo:.
  2. Wow.. That's just dumb design.
  3. I have no idea about your particular application/product. However, I have Tokico D-Specs on my WRX, and they have held up very well. But, the D-Specs came in at $560 for the set, so they might be a better model than the $200 set you're looking at. Unfortunately, it seems like some suspension manufacturers work well for certain makes/models of cars, but suck for others. Tein for instance is a very reputable company for DSM suspension, but their Subaru stuff is utter crap.
  4. Maybe those pictures weren't everything, but it looked like the most "Fast n Furious" cars there were the Viper and Charger.... I like the Subaru concept. Though, gullwing doors will never make it to production in anything less than an exotic. But the interior looks really spacious. That Audi concept is awesome. I disagree with lolryan on this point. I think Audi's cars are too plain as it stands (with the R8 being the exception). If I'm getting a top of the line performance car, I don't want it to look boring. If I want boring, I'd save the cash and buy boring. The LFA is pure sex. Really expensive sex, but sex nonetheless. Idle to redline in 0.6sec. The engine revs so fast, they have to use an LCD tach to keep up with it. Ferrari California is just... not a Ferrari. The 599XX is incredible though. I'm surprised there wasn't a 458 there. As for the Hybrids and Electrics, I love 'em! I think they're great. Every car manufacturer should embrace the technology. There should even be a new brand that's nothing BUT hybrids and electrics. Every damn garage and driveway out there should have at least a hybrid. I want them affordable, and popular. Because every drop of fuel they save will leave more for me to BURN!
  5. I thought that truck looked familiar. It was on the cover of 8-lug a little while ago.. LOL Guess we know the kind of quality that mag looks for.. Someone build up a little speedbump like that and let's all cruise over it and post the YouTube vid.
  6. I saw Book of Eli. And the religious aspects were there. However, I think how they handled things was surprisingly neutral.
  7. WTF? My car could handle a jump like that better.
  8. I found the first one disappointing. The previews made it look like it was a wall-to-wall shoot 'em up with crazy characters and a touch of Guy Richie humor. Instead it was just slow and boring with only a couple good gunfights and a lot of pointless randomness. So I'm rather wary of Smokin' Aces 2. It looks like Vinnie Jones features prominently, so that bodes well. But really, I'm going to wait for someone else to see it first and let me know if it's as slow paced as the first one.
  9. TaxCut since it's what I've been using for the last 6+ years. It's handy having it just grab all the info it needs from my previous years.
  10. Yup, lots to look forward to. On the technical side, KERS is out, and the front tires might be thinner this year. They are keeping the DDDs because it was too late to get rid of them for '10, but they'll be out come '11. Almost all the teams have a new car for this year, plus we have the newbie teams and their take on the rulesets. Unveilings start in just a couple weeks I think.
  11. F1 got boring for a while, but these last few years have always had something for me to look forward to. I can't wait for this year. Shumi was very good. One of the best. But I don't think he's going to dominate this year. My eye is on Vettel and Massa. And Kimi said he'd pick Vettel to be the 2010 Champ. This should be fun.
  12. Wasn't me, that's for sure. Too many dumb punks in Imprezas these days.
  13. I bet he fastens the chin strap now.
  14. If that's an SCCA autocross, some safety stewards are going to have their ass handed to them. The course is too close to an obstacle, and the starter didn't see that the driver's helmet wasn't fastened..
  15. I'll try to keep my eyes peeled for ths so I don't miss it again. I went to Yoshi's with some friends who really enjoy Japanese food. I think I find Akai Hana's sushi more to my liking. But any chef can have a bad day, so I won't write off Yoshi's. My friends on the other hand were blown away by the food and loved Yoshi's. So I'll likely be going back there again.
  16. I'm pretty sure that's a replica of Takumi's car from Initial D. Note the yellow fogs.
  17. Neither of those are being made any more since Pontiac and Saturn are both gone. Was the Toyota a Camry? If so, it was built by Subaru in their Indiana plant.
  18. I'm eyeballing this one and supposedly the Subaru version as well. Specs look good, as long as they don't let it get bloated. Low weight, moderate power, low cost. If they pull that off, they'll have a winner. However, the engine is too far back to swap in an AWD drivetrain. So we'll only see RWD in that body. Not a bad thing. But it squashes some hopes of some Suby fans of swapping in an STI powertrain. The engine should still be swappable though.
  19. Question is, is that before or after boot camp? I can't see someone like that surviving boot camp. But I could see him going in like that.
  20. Too late, it's connecting my LCD monitor to my laptop which only has a HDMI out.
  21. When I got my OH license, an old man came in to renew. He had to be assisted in the door and to the counter. He had to be helped when asked what his name and address were. And finally he had to be PROMPTED through the eye test. It's a TEST! And as such, there is an option to FAIL it. I can't believe the BMV approved this guy's renewal. As for other places to live, it's preference. I lived in eastern MA all my life, including Osterville on Cape Cod, and I like it better here. I'm sure some of you would love to move to Cape Cod. But, for me, when you factor in everything, this is the best place in the US.
  22. However, a true friend will be sitting in jail with you saying "Holy shit, that was AWESOME!"
  23. MFD for the cluster is good. Now they just need to make the center console a MFD and it'll be truly clean.
