Dude...Keelser sucks. I was just there for 8 months for my tech school too. I lucked out and got stationed at Nellis out near Vegas though. Have fun there. Air Force is 8 1/2 weeks for basic. When I was there (July 09 - Sept 09) I got a total of 3 calls home, inculding the 1 20sec call when you first got there to tell someone you made it and give them your address.

What kind of #'s did it make?

Thanks guys. I really can't wait. I went on a base visit/tour to Wright Pat today and it gave me the much needed "reassurance" (can't really think of a better word right now) about all this. Like someone said..I think the hardest part will be being away from all my friends/family for so long.

Meh..I'm not really worried about peoples opinion on the branch I chose. I was mainly looking for real experience from AF basic and tech. Again..thanks for the kind words from the few kind people.

Holy hell there is a nice person on this board. Thanks for the kind words to the few that had them. I'll be doing Meteorological and Navigations Systems on Aircraft and Towers. Sounds like a pretty fun job to me anyway.

Well..I know pretty much nobody on here knows me, but I will be leaving 3 weeks from today for the Air Force basic training. I've been in the DEP (delayed entry persons) program for the past 4 months waiting to leave, and now that it's here I'm starting to freak out a tad. On one hand I'm absolutely pumped and ready for it, and on the other I'm nervous. Any input from people that have been through basic and all that?

I really wish more people had this mindset. I've met way to many people that think "oh..I'm in such and such branch, so I'm better than you." I signed into the Air Force about 2 months ago. I leave in 33 days for Basic and Tech School. I'll let you know in April when I'm out of Tech how it is. Smart decision no matter what branch you choose though.

A buddy and I will be headin out from Circleville. My 02 GT and his 98 Cobra. Neither of us have ever ran at the track before. Should make for some embarassing times.

Ok...where to start. If there is someone on here with a turbo'd white Integra that was in Lancaster on Wednesday night.....I hate you. You are the reason that import drivers get a bad rep. You are the reason that I would LOVE to set an import on fire. Congrats Integra douche bag. THE STORY: I was at the mall in my car (in my sig)..driving around w/ my girl, and this impatient asshat decides that 15mph in front of the mall just isnt fast enough. So he goes flying through the parking lot to pass me making a scene out of it. So what do I do?...pass him back. Not in front of the mall though..I waited until we got to the road that leads away and I flew by him. Guy gets beside me and throws the thumbs down to me. Wtf...did you really have to do that? I wasnt going to say shit about your car..I really wasnt. In fact, I previously thought that Integras were one of the few imports that I liked. Not now. He starts runnin off at the mouth saying "oh I bet I have 20 more wheel hp than you do." Fuckin congrats dude. Really. By the way..it took F/I to get you there..dont forget that. Let me drop money into some sort of F/I and we'll see who has the hp advantage. Thats not the end of it though...we start drivin along (now I'm being a complete dick to him saying it would be a waste of my time to race him blah blah blah) when we come to a stop sign. He says "oh so $100 is a waste of your time?" I replied with "I dont need your $100. I'm doing fine, thanks." His response? "Yea..looks like it with that piece of shit." Do I need to remind you that youre the one with rust spots all over the ass of your car, not me. Please dont take this as an import bashing thread...its not. I respect well built imports, and who knows..maybe this one was. But the guy was a total ball of douche, and its people like him that stereotype a certain group of drivers. /rant.

Finally got around to taking my car over to Brian to get tuned, and all I can say is wow. It feels like a completely different car now. Brian let me keep my car on the bottom of the lift and get under it to try and change an o2 sensor, and never once gave me crap about it. His dad got down there and helped me out, too. First pull he found I was running pig rich and only put down 222/222 (or something close to that.) After working his magic he got me to 254/292. I'm really happy with those numbers considering my car is an auto. I made vids of the 4 pulls he made (which are uploading now..so give me a few), and I'll let him post the graph b/c my scanners not working right. Thanks again Brian!

I have those on my 02 GT. I'll be taking them off within the next couple of weeks to put on my new wheels. If youre interested, we can work out a deal. It would probably be for just the wheels though...tires are spoken for.

I have bought a few of my things from them...headers, x pipe, intake, and some of my visual stuff. Always great customer service, and fast shipping. I just had rear bumper inserts shipped out today and I would gaurantee they'll be here on Thursday at the latest.
