  1. This is soooooooo good
  2. Lol, yea, the LX platform cars have the wheelwells of f'ing trucks. The 2.7L V6 charger/magnum community prides itself on shoving 26" wheels in there......"my abs light is flashing...." lol
  3. The awd option was new for 2007, and not many folks on the forum I frequent opted for it. Nobody's really complained or anything, other than that I know they can't do burnouts lol. I think the RWD + Hemi combo just shouldn't be messed with. They do pretty well in the snow in RWD form anyway, as they have a real complex ( mercedes-based ) stability control system. It'll keep you going straight nicely, and the manumatic part of the automatic transmission lets you start from a stop in second, which is a nice feature too. Btw, if you end up w/ a magnum, or a charger for that matter, be sure to visit noesp.com - I just put that in my dad's charger for his birthday....makes it a whole different car.
  4. I see, well there ya go. I have a D70 w/ standard lens and a new Nikon VR Zoom. I'm not as good as I'd like to be, but I'm getting there I suppose. Nice pics btw. Any tips on photographing cars?
  5. What kind of camera are you using?
  6. That thing is mighty RARE!!! Being an SRT-8 it'll kill ya on gas but damn, 425hp, 5spd. auto, and a STATION WAGON! Sweet car either way. p.s. - those are the SRT rims I mentioned above, niiiiiiiice
  7. The limited edition ones offer nothing but a color, and some vinyl, fyi. While they do look pretty hot, they are nothing more than an R/T with the Road and Track Package performance-wise. Btw, they're called "Sublime" green and "Top Banana" yellow .
  8. Throw some Magnum SRT rims on their and you will have pure hottness. They're hard to find though.
  9. My dad has a charger R/T ( hemi ). I like it a lot, he loves it. you can find them cheap too. He bought his new for 27k out the door. It's a 2006. Bigger than my grandpa's deville front and rear, giant trunk too. I wouldn't do the SRT-8 unless you can handle 12-14mpg premium.......or less if you drive it hard. With the cylinder deactivation my dad see's 19-21mpg, including some hard driving here and there. Definitely a cool car.

    WTB: Impala

I would check impala forums, but I dunno. What are your crazy plans exactly that do not need a motor? RWD + V8 or something
  11. The internet has numbed me, I can watch that w/o a gag or anything, just shaking my head i guess. Although I gashed up my knee real bad yesterday on some tile floor shards, and all the blood kinda bugged me. weird.
  12. .012 4.525 4.537 7***th place or something
  13. I'd like to get together in the spring. I'm no pro or anything but I have some good equipment. I've got a D70, a new zoom lens and tripod/monopod that I haven't tried out yet. I'd be glad to come out.
  14. not even almost.....but i guess different is bad. right?
  15. I liked the movie as did everyone I've heard from until this thread, I think a lot of people are taking as just another monster movie. which it is not, it's different in many, many ways. all you really need to know going in is that the camera can make you sick if you're easily affected that way. whatever, drop a dramamine or something. Either way, to each his own.
  16. I liked it a lot! It's short, but truly doesn't seem like it because it's so ungodly fast-paced. The way the camera is all shaky ( from the point of view of someone's homevideo of the events ) might bother some people, but it didn't bug me. As long as you're not someone who's gonna instantly disregard a movie because something is attacking new york city, I think you'll like it too. It's not like any movie I've seen because of the way it's filmed, I liked it and so did the people I was with. Go see it.
  17. Hey be sure to take it out of 4wd when on dry pavement.....just a tip. My parents have an 03 and it kills me when they leave it in 4wd after a snow storm when the roads are dry. You can feel it struggling to turn .
  18. Congrats! What is it an old toyota or nissan? Which body panels are left unrusted?
  19. My dad's friend at work sold a restored 428 Cobra Jet Torino to a guy out of state for around 30 or 35k a while back.......He recently saw his car, as well as the guy who bought it from him, at barret jackson on tv......it sold for 100k!!!!!!! 1 of 200 made in the color, apparently not rare enough already. I couldn't believe it.
  20. Yea, it's as good a chrysler automatic can be, it's got a kind of slam into 2nd that's been there as long as I've had it, and the guy who had it before said the same thing. It hasn't gotten any worse and isn't slipping, so i guess I'll just keep changing the fluid.
  21. So I new this was going to happen, soon enough, so I kept the camera in the car. Hopefully you can see it, I got blocked out of the exit I was trying to take, so I had to take the picture while driving down 315 North!!! http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/DSC_0108Medium.jpg That's right 222,222 miles! That's the kind of thing that only happens, well, once every hundred-thousand miles! I had to take a picture, I love the damn thing. It's been everywhere. It was my dad's before I got it, and he bought off his friend when it had 60,000ish miles on it. It's a 97 dakota, 4x4 with the 5.2 Liter V8, trusty old 318. Original engine and transmission, and the rearend's only been rebuilt once, about 10,000 miles ago. I just love the damn thing, almost more than my Stealth....figured I'd share. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/DSC_0111Medium.jpg I wouldn't dare call it a beater, but it's what I drive when the weather's too bad for the stealth, or I need to haul something.
