  1. :lolguy: Doesn't sound like it's your year.
  2. I assume you're talking about the Michelins?
  3. Conti = not so good, they just don't seem to last that long. Vredestein TriComp- They seem to last a good bit (1000-1400miles). http://www.coloradocyclist.com/product/item/VREFAY11 Or you could also look at the Vredestein duocomp.

  7. USADA= Joke. Until UCI says something, no fucks are given.
  8. How is Lenovo on warranties? I have no problems with Toshiba, I'm on my second satellite. Between my parents and I we've had 7 Toshibas without any problems.
  9. I'm in the market for a new laptop. Have previously had all Toshiba Satellites. Looking for something the will suite both gaming and some video editing needs. Trying to spend less than $1500 closer to $1200 would be preferable but no qualms in spending more for a nicer products. I know I want an Intel processor (never had luck with AMD) and I dont want an HP. What would you suggest?
  10. http://www.pacemakersdragway.com/graphics/sharxq32.jpg QUALIFYING There will be 16 open wheel and 16 door cars ( must have operational doors, Altereds and Roadsters are considered open wheel.). There will be no cross filling of fields (no door cars in dragster class and vice versa). 1 Car/1 Driver. You do not have to make both qualifying passes. If paid entries are not full after first qualifying round, then exception will be made to allow further entries. However; entries will only be accepted until field is full and will not bump out previously entered competitors (those that had paid at gate). NO REFUNDS FOR BROKE CARS AFTER QUALIFYING STARTS. Competitors that are experiencing correctable difficulties that will be repaired in a timely manner please inform head of staging and every effort will be made to accommodate the competitor. This applies to elimination rounds only. Race management will take into consideration those racers that are competing in other classes. POINTS Points will be awarded as follows: 10 points to stage first round 10 points for every round won 1 points to runner-up (run-off) 2 points to final round winner (run-off) In the event of an end of season points tie, tie breaker will be first determined by which competitor won the most events. If additional tie breaker is needed, next determining factor will be which competitor won most head to head rounds. STAGING PROCEDURE Burn-outs across the starting line will be permitted for both the open wheel and door car fields. All competitors must then back up and completely clear both staging beams prior to staging. Staging will be in a forward motion. Any competitor not abiding by this rule will be asked by the starter to back up and re-stage, if they fail to comply, they will be disqualified. Auto start will be used in Quick 32 after both cars have pre-staged and one stage light is lit. Opponent has 10 seconds to stage, car must be fully staged to stop timer. We do not have stage lock. Flickering of bulbs will not stop timers. COURTESY STAGING IS MANDATORY Your safety is important to us. All NHRA safety rules apply to car and driver. 11. I'd think in a gremlin, that a healthy 400sbc based engine would get you into the 10s with relative ease. Even more so if you hit it with some spray.
  12. I fail to see the benefit, as you can't use an air/electric shifter like you can with a standard pattern valve body.
  13. Yep, old school way to do heads. But the machines are still out there.
  14. Yes Manual = manual shifting with the stock shifting. Reverse Manual =manual with a PRN123(D) pattern instead. Oh yeah forgot about transbrakes, 4l60s dont like those either :fuuuu:
  15. 350/400 have been around for so much longer than the 4L60e/80, that's why they are cheaper to build. The 4.3 uses the same transmission (700r4/4L60), no difference that I know of. The T5 out of a 4.3 will have the same bell housing pattern as a SBC does. If plan on building something with a manual valve body, I would choose the 350/400. After having talked with many trans builders, the 700r4/4L60e does not like manual valve bodies and very much doesnt like reverse manual VBs.

  17. Agreed. Will also be voting for someone outside of the 2 shit parties.
  18. It's not quite time to put mine up for sale. But I suggest looking on http://www.mazdatrucking.com and http://www.mazdabscene.com
  19. There a guys in s/a "stock/a" that have gone high 9s with ls1 F-bodies.
  20. None of the drag pack cars have a vin/title.
  21. 4L60 = 700R4, no electronics. With the weight of the rx7, you could also look at the 2004Rs. They can be built to handle a ton of abuse as well.
  22. If you don't mind spending a good chunk of change, I've heard great things about St. Elmos steak house in down town indy. Also interested in more places to eat as I'll be there again in December.
