For the past two months i have not been very gentle with my car, no dumping the clutch or any wreckless operations. Today i noticed while i was sitting at a stop sign, that when i push in my clutch it makes a snapping, or popping noise. this happens only every few times you push the clutch. the clutch still has full operation. thanks, yeah i have nothing against civics or imports in general. i like being able to have a car that sips gas and something that more fun to drive on the side.

i dont know, i have never really looked into that, but i like the motor that is in it, and i like the body style.

no, i just went with a simple stereotype jackass statement as a thread opener. my civic probably would have ended up ricey, but no from my point of view i dont think imports are rice, i mean there are a alot of them that are, but thats after people screw them up and make them that way.

Kevin, that right there was what i kinda was looking to do with mine, i like the pipes out the back, i just didn't know if the exhaust i have now is better for the performance aspect of my car or whether it was limiting it. seriously, do you honestly have a problem that i said i would rather put money into an American car? "but what makes you think your in the position to say your not going to pick on my car, or you wouldnt drive it?" honestly i didnt think i had to ask permission to speak whats on my mind. and, yes i give you props for having a clean decently fast civic. i hope you enjoy it to the fullest. and i dont know what mentality you speak of ( that hondas are just plain rice?).

so do you think those are actually worth while to keep? i shouldnt go with a different system?

well, it seems to me that everyone goes and calls hondas and most other imports rice, so i guess i was trying for a good catchy title (ill change it to make you feel better), if you look back at my first post and go look at my intro thread, i originally thought about modding my civic, and turned away from it. i dont see a point in modifying something that otherwise i can get great gas mileage in.

i personally meant nothing malicious, im just saying i like my mustang better, im not gonna pick on someone cause of their car. Idk, i kinda like your car, but i couldnt ever really see myself driving it.

yeah, every one tells me they like how they sound, but im not sold on them, i want to buy a better system, but i have not decided on anything yet.

well, my age on the left is wrong, i just finished my junior year at DACC. its a great school. I don't post much on here, mostly 'cause i don't have much to say. a while back i did an intro thread and a few people saw that i had a little civic. i want to say thanks, mostly because if it were not for this forum i probably would have just modded my civic. well to this day i still have the civic, its my dd. About a month ago I Bought a '95 Mustang GT. its in awesome condition, the only thing it is missing is the pony emblem from the grille. so thanks to the guys that steered me away from Honda modding. thats a v6 i believe, with the wing and all. i know someone who works at the Mc Donald's At Cleveland Ave and Main St. in westerville owns it, its there all the time, that wind sticks out 2 inches on each side of the car.

yeah Acura is a domestic company, founded in America, but they still are a part of Honda, so i think it is in the same boat as the GTO. It has ties to more than one country.

I don't do that with my car. The hills are nice and all, but I don't want to ruin my car. I have gotten airborne with my friend driving, but not with my car.

northern 315 and various roads in Delaware county. have you tried south sanction line road, its right off of home road. There are some really nice hills that if you try, you can get air off of them.
