  1. Really? I still see people sell R12. Very expensive but they’re out there

yes R12 is still around but you have to be ASE certified in A/C to buy it. R134a is slowly getting replaced with the new R1234YF, eventually it'll be like R12.

  2. Good to know. Still won't be up to the power of the Audi or my Q though. Audi was a Stage 3 Dual Pulley and the Q has a piggy back on it too.

I'll be driving an auto Touring model soon again.....as I drove one when looking at the Q but it didn't have the power I wanted. That's back when the 2.0T was rare though.

radio touch display is garbage, other than that they're a good car.

Side note: if you're wanting a little more HP get it tuned, the 2.0t is the same engine in the Civic Type-R only detuned in the Accord

  3. Same thing happened with my basement, small amount of water seeping in during heavy rain only, but a couple weeks ago after all that rain we got my basement flooded.

Turns out the water drainage line from the sump pump out to the curb was crushed & blocked by a large tree root and several smaller roots inside the drain pipe. As for repairs I just did the work myself, I dug up the drain pipe in my front yard and had to re-route the pipe around the root that crushed it and under another large root back to the main exit point, checked the water flow after the repair, water comes running out with no restrictions, I also bought some concrete sealer and some drylock paint to seal & coat my basement walls. Since I did these repairs I haven't seen any water seepage in my basement.

  4. got an official letter handed to me by our union for in case I get pulled over during a total shut down, it's proof I work for a company that will still be working. They are the belief more restrictions are on the way.

my job is essential but they never gave us any letter.

  5. Just heard they were shutting down barber shops. I assumed this was inevitable and got a hair cut yesterday.

yup, My wife works at SportClips she called me yesterday telling me they're shut down. She said the place was a mad house after the announcement. They had to stay until the last customer was done before closing the doors. Her last customer works for AEP, he left her a $80 tip!

  6. You guys talking about the National Guard, I've seen a few C-130's fly in Rickenbacker over the past few days. I know it doesn't mean anything as its still a refueling base but at this point who really knows.
  7. my wife went yesterday to get some groceries. Called me saying they were out of damn near everything what should I get? I told her not to worry too much since our freezer in the basement is always stocked with meat, so just get basic can food items, milk if they have some, flour, rice, noodles, powdered milk, eggs/powdered eggs or both. It's not the best stuff but those items can go a long way if you know how to cook from scratch. However she did come home with quite a bit of stuff plus those items I told her to search for.
  8. I know it sounds dumb but watch the Simpsons(1993 season 4, episode 21). Its about a airborne virus that started in Asia infecting everyone, later in that episode called CoronaVirus. Also on the back of Lysol cans/wipes it list that it helps fight/prevent CoronaVirus? Weird. I'm probably the only one here that thinks it's media scare tactic.
  9. As I age, I have become less and less tolerant of low temperature and snow, I'm on the other opposite end of your notion; I'm thankful that there has been minimum snow accumulation the last few winters. It also has postponed my plan to replace the winter tires on the Z since 3 years ago.
agreed 100% and I hate shoveling my driveway & sidewalks around my house. For me, any winter with a lot of snow is disappointing.
  10. I have Snap-On 1/2" and 3/8, both have got the job done for me here at the dealership when we lost power. I used the 1/2 to do a transmission swap in 3.2TL, I recently bought a Matco 3/8 and it's impressive too. It really depends on how much you wanna spend. Note: DeWalt and Mac Tools batteries are interchangeable within their cordless power tools.
  11. I know its a different model year, and there has been lots of changes, but i think it might still work for AWD. Speaking of, aren't all pilots AWD? i have never seen just a FWD model.

nope, there is a FWD only model, its pretty base to make it more affordable

  12. replaced vent valve, the purge valve, blow out the vent tube, and the canister, was full of dirt.

Did you replace the vent tube and/or canister or just blew them out with air?

there is a TSB for this issue but these items are most common for that car:

Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Vent Solenoid/Valve

    Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister.

Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister and Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Vent Solenoid/Valve.

Fuel Filler Cap, Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid/Valve. Fuel Filler Neck.

    Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS)

    Carbon Canister Vent Hose.

Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) Wiring
