there are way too many bowl games now, I remember back in the day there was only 19 or so bowl games, now teams that finish .500 are bowl bound.

I'm not defending Cincy but they were a beast in 2009, what hurt them was Brian Kelly taking the Notre Dame job and having to leave before their BCS bowl game that year. Remember when Tressel was let go in 2011? the Buckeyes finished 6-7 that year, the same team the following year under Urban Meyer 12-0, that shows that coaching is everything.

I was listening to the Herd on 97.1, Colin was saying that if any team has something to worry about its FSU, He was talking about how voters shouldn't/wont put FSU in the NCG without a verdict on Winston, He explained that if FSU gets voted in the NCG and Winston is found guilty FSU is left with their 3rd string QB for that game(2nd string QB is out for the season) and whoever the #2 team is will just crush them and the ratings people aren't gonna like that. Then he went into the rape case on how rape victim's don't make that stuff up etc... I think it's safe to say if we beat MSU were going no matter what

also another note, I was randomly searching the AP top 25 polls from 2002 down and the SEC had maybe 1-2 teams in the top 10 but they're at the bottom of the top 10, then there's maybe 6-7 teams in the top 25 but at the end of the top 25 with the exception of the 96 season when Florida was NC's, it's funny how ESPN's media hype can change all that and everyone from the south seems to forget they're a shitty conference who thinks their the toughest. in the past it was always a Big 12, Big East, ACC or B1G school in the top 5 rarely a SEC school they were the "WEAK" conference of that time, of course back then ESPN only had 1 channel and not enough pull in the media world, funny how people can forget

I agree 100% with you on the uniform changes, a place like Ohio State where we have Heisman trophy winners, National Championships, several Conference Championships, Legendary coaches and rich tradition we don't need to change the uniforms every game to get recruits, the Buckeye uniform "IS" an icon
