  1. I did, damn thing cost me $480.00 not counting tax
  2. I finally gave in to temptation and bought a 1/2" drive Snap-on digital TECHWRENCH, so I'm selling my 1/2" click type Snap-on torque wrench for $175.00, I bought it new and paid over $350.00 for it, this wrench still retails from Snap-on for $349.99. My torque wrench still looks new with maybe a few minor scratches, it comes in a red Snap-on plastic case, still has the user manual too. When using this torque wrench you DO NOT have to return it to the lowest setting like all other torque wrenches. It was only used when doing head gasket repairs on Honda/Acura cars and now Honda uses degrees instead of a specific ft-lbs setting. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd60/cwash77/photo1_zps817507c1.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd60/cwash77/photo2_zpsc99a6d5f.jpg here are the specs: 50-250 ft-lbs Designed for measuring torque in a clockwise direction only. Wrench is not reversible. Description: Flex-Ratchet Models – offer sealed Snap-on® ratchets, which flex up to 15° to provide knuckle and obstruction clearance. Snap-on® Sealed Ratchet Head – is virtually maintenance free; more time working with the tool, less time on tool maintenance. Thumb Screw Type Adjustment – is faster than cycling through a micrometer style torque wrench. Guard prevents setting from being changed accidentally. Setting is displayed in window. Conversion table to N•m displayed on handle. Sealed Neck – keeps dust and grit away from the torque mechanism for longer tool life. "Split Beam" Measuring Element – provides accurate, reliable readings and eliminates the heavy coil spring used in conventional click-type wrenches. This yields fewer moving parts, reducing friction and wear.
  3. is Jeff Pickard(sp) your Snap-on guy?
  4. ok, I'm at work and being to lazy too look, but what all is included in the membership?
  5. that part is called a power mirror actuator, Honda P/N 76210-SDA-A11. your cost would be around $48.00, but I can get it for $25.86+tax
  6. does anyone have any spare 93 Camaro ECU's laying around they want to sell? if not does anyone know of local shop that can rebuild one?

    Walking Dead

read the books! don't get me wrong the tv series if good but the books are 100x better
  8. 100k service is only a minor service, which is: oil change, brake inspection, tire rotation, air filter & A/C cabin filter inspection(<--these are usually done at every 15 in severe conditions and every 30k during normal conditions). the big one is at 105k which is: oil change, tire rotate, brake inspection, spark plugs, valve adjustment and drive belt (timing belt for V6 engines)
  9. this^^ when I was looking into moving out there I know my Camaro would never pass their emissions inspections and I was told to sign the car over to a parent/sibling here in Ohio and keep the plates registered as Ohio plates then their emissions law(s) wont apply since the car isn't a California registered car. BUT this was back in 2008
  10. to the OP this thread isn't news! this has been going on for some time now. Rocky, I work there now and I have a GOOD idea I know who this fucktard is, he's that guy who wants to only do customer pay gravy work and nothing else. I've been there going on 2 months now and I went off on the service manager about this guys shit. Since then they've been keeping a close watch on him. So far they've busted him trying to sell a power steering fluid flush on a Honda Fit, why is this a problem you ask? the Honda Fit has electronic power steering! He cost a service adviser a good survey because he was to lazy to check & set the tire pressures on a customer's car that he did a 105k service on. I've had it with that guys shady shit and told them to get him out of there, then there's 3 other guys they hired in from AutoZone, really? 2 of the 3 guys are lazy as fuck, the other one is actually WANTING to learn and is doing good work
  11. you beat me to it, but anyway, I wonder how this is gonna play out, if players do get paid now, how is this gonna effect scholarships, GPA and eligibility rules? also if this is in favor of the players then recruiting is gonna take a HUGE turn, schools who can't pay for talent will be shut out weakening their ability to compete plus whatever conference they're in along with possibly going broke or cutting athletic programs from the least important ones leaving only the big 2(football & basketball) I seriously hope this fails.

    Walking Dead

truth! my guess in the comic is simple, Carl is the next Rick, so Ricks day will be coming, probably right around issue 200 which gives them a lot of time to plan it & write it
  13. could have used some sort of frequency jammer to knock out cell phones, hell there's videos all over the web on how to make a small EMP and portable jammer
  14. always use a factory belt, try to stay away from the aftermarket stuff
  15. yes its an interference engine, do a cylinder leak down that's the only sure way without taking the head off, I've seen "SOME" Honda engines break a t-belt and no other damage. Now the real question, did you use a genuine Honda timing belt or an aftermarket t-belt? did you replace the water pump & timing belt tensioner? at lastly the most common item that gets overlooked is the cam seals, if those are leaking oil guess where that oil goes...on the timing belt.
  16. I'm a Acura master tech, I've been with them for 18yrs but I recently switched over to Honda(same owner same car just a different emblem, all my seniority/benefits/vacation stays with me which is a huge plus) the pay is good until the Holidays roll around then hours decline but they eventually pick back up. I'm hoping one day to get in with Honda R&D, they tell us you need 1 of 2 requirements, a College Degree or 10yrs in the Honda field, so here's to hoping...
  17. any body know anything about Tourneau watches? I have 6 of them and I've never worn a single one or even set the time on any of them, they're all still in the original boxes unused.
  18. I use to watch it every weekend until Dale Sr died but then I started to follow Dale Jr liked it again until the ugly car of tomorrow came out then I lost all interest in it and Dale Jr going to Hendrick Motorsports was the nail in the coffin for me. I do still watch the Daytona & Talladega races but that's it, I just don't care about Nascar anymore, tv announcers are annoying as fuck too
  19. I see the 49ers vs. Broncos, but I really hope the Seahawks beat the 49ers, I can't stand Harbaugh or Kaepernick
