    i just changed the one in my van, it looked rough and i had it apart for a water pump so i went ahead and changed it....ive never broke a timing chain so i dont know about that.....

    my aunts neon(97) broke the belt and bent the exhaust valve in 2 diffrent cylinders but it didnt hurt the intake valves..weird

    those only help if you change the belt before it breaks...so interference engines are still a stupid design....belt breaks randomly driving down the road and whipes out the top end of the motor.....JUNK

    my minivan(3.0 chrysler) is an interference motor, just had the whole side of the motor apart for a new belt and water pump..not sure about others but they recomend a belt change on my motor every 30,000 what a pain in the ass...if it breaks your fucked so you have to change it

    =1 for the 870 i have one ive used for hunting and clay shoots since i was 16 and love it....i have recently upgraded to an 1187 remmington but its a little pricey for just home protection in my opinion....but i love semi auto....(dad uses an 1100 and loves it too, so for semi's either way) but for a pump def an 870

    trd made factory turbo 22re's, so if you can find a kit or one of the trd pick up trucks rusted to death that would be a very cheap gain in power....not to mention thanks to the offroad world you can buy alot of internal performance parts for the 22re......try browsing jc whitneys website
