From a distance they appear to be black because its a dark color. If you want to change that It would be simple to repaint the lips since they are 3 piece wheels or I can give you a quote and I can have it done here. One of the front barrels has a 1/4 inch crack on the inside cannot be seen (It has been Tig welded to repair and rides fine does not loose air) They look sharp on Grey,WHITE,and Black 55ks Espicially. You are viewing a beautiful set of HRE 540R's. All 4 wheels are not bent. And they ride Smooth. there is some minor chips in the rim lip (From PO but they are all touched up and you CANNOT notice from 2 feet away Iam anal.) I will have more pictures tonght when I get home. The wheels are off the car and cleaned up sitting in my Basement. Brand new Nitto Invos in the front. Backs have Falkens 285-25-20 could use replaced within the next 8k miles but still have tread and are not on the wear markers. Reason for the difference is I liked the more agressive tread design the falkens offered at the time. Evo: Ceramic coat the Turbo parts Drive it, clean it, drive it, clean it and Repeat then cover it for next winter all while maybe putting 2k miles on it. E55 AMG: Install the $3k headers I just bought NO there is no typo. Mods are not cheap for it. buy a set of 16 inch wheels and mount ET Streets. Retune and make 600+ Wheel Tq in a 4 door MB with cooled seats GSXR 1000: New clutch, New paint (gotta change the color for the season) and get a Shinko Hookup GSR:Its my Beater. Take the winter tires off, mount powdercoated stock wheels, Wash it, Drive it.
