The Monster has a similar feel as to a naked Buel, very easy to flick it around. Has a huge tank though which is hard to get used to. Yes it's air cooled. To be completely honest I prefer a well setup 250r over a 600+ CC bike in the canyons, nothing more boring than having to keep a bike tame the whole time as with the 250r you can go flat most of the time and it's way more enjoyable. Easier to toss around as well and the smaller tires are a riot :lolguy: As for track use everything is much cheaper and I wouldn't be fighting with keeping the rear wheel hooked or the front of the bike down, huge issue I had with my old R6-the back tire would never stay fully planted.

I hope so, it's a odd riding bike. Ducati tech is picking it up tonight to do it's belts and valve adjustment and I'm sure it will end up needing more stuff. Deciding if I want to buy a nice suspension setup for it? I really want a cbr 250 to track with, might be my next bike

Ended up pirchasing a ducati monster from a dealer three hours away and having them deliver. Guy with the aprilia didn't respond

I know someone with the 690 duke, not a fan of that rattle machine. It vibrates a TON. Some good choices in there though, Thanks A Aprilia Shiver just popped up for sale for under 5k.... Hmmm

That's probably a hairy ride on that little thing. I really want a honda nsr that's street legal but their so hard to find. That would be a wild ride. Currently eyeing a gsxr 750..... Not a fan of how typical sport bikes look but I love the handling so it's hard to not swing that way

3k brand new, it's really hard to not go out and just buy one to have. I want a Grom, YSR50, or a Honda NSR for a third bike to kick around. Tiny little bikes have to be great fun

Haha yeah this is the furthest kinda bike away from what I'm into. It's just going to be a spare bike, still going to get something else. I saw this and never knew about them, so once I saw two stroke and it was kinda a Harley haha I had to buy it. It's literally like new too, and paid almost nothing. I used my truck to take it home, couple harley guys actually gave me thumbs up, probably didn't know what it was.... It doesn't really smoke that bad at all, it's super loud though. Looking into some heavy baffles.

Indeed. I can get a good deal on a new FZ8. Debating a GSXR 750, Ducati Monster, or a MV Agusta F3
