    I really think the floormat is a cover up for a huge software error. Steve Wozniak was saying it was a software problem and calling out Toyota on his Prius. In case you aren't familiar, Steve Wozniak is the co-founder of Apple, so he knows a good bit about software.

    This is a key sentence. A key note here, is that unlike iPhones, android devices WILL get flash, and the wait is not that far off. And when it comes out I will overclock my phone farther to take full advantage of meatspin.

    Only if you run brightness 100%, wifi, gps, bluetooth, syncing 5x email accounts, and 30 background apps running all day. Otherwise, its pretty good. PS: If you get one new from the store, it will be a week or so before the battery life stables out. This is true for a lot of phones though.

    Droid is FAR better than the touch pro 2. However, if you dont 100% need a physical keyboard, the Nexus One comes to verizon (which I assume you are on, looking at droid) in the spring, along with a few more cool phones.

    Thats really hard to say. Depends on your usage, what you are doing, whether you are using 3g/wifi.. Of course you are going to get lower battery life if its overclocked and you are actively using it.. But I am able to charge my phone often enough that it doesn't matter.

    Negligible, since I have it set to underclock its self when the screen is off. If I know I am going to be on it a long time, and want to maximize battery life, I can always underclock on the fly if I want to. SetCPU FTW!

    But you get "the best smartphones", and superior 3G coverage that is faster than Verizons. And the nations largest 3G network. AND COOL APPS. No android for you!

    On one forum, a TI engineer stated that it can be run at higher frequencies, but 600mhz was just the most energy efficient and seemed to give the longest life (as in, 10+ years) I'm not really worried about running 950mhz. Only problem is I had to patch the wifi to get it to work again. also, fuck your nexus for getting 2.1 before all the droid owners
