  1. That light will blind small cameras without a lens hood on the bottom, which is my next point, get the largest camera you can find. A dashcam is a means of protection if it happens to see anything, a large visible camera is quite the deterrent. What are you looking to spend? You could mount this big motherfucker in place of the light, and remotely change the view to wherever you are parked that day. http://www.amazon.com/IPCC-7210W-Wireless-Nightvision-BlueIris-compatible/dp/B00GALXXWU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1453081841&sr=8-2&keywords=wireless+ip+camera+outdoor+ptz
  2. They don't even provide battery backups for their phone equipment anymore
  3. Seriously...get a dell c1100 with a pair of l5530s.. http://ark.intel.com/products/41755/Intel-Xeon-Processor-L5530-8M-Cache-2_40-GHz-5_86-GTs-Intel-QPI VT-x, VT-d, lower power, and cheap.
  4. For virtualization (I use proxmox) I run a Dell c1100 at home. It is much quieter than expected, although initial bootup it sounds like it wants to lift off the ground. http://i.imgur.com/DgDnKAF.jpg Keep an eye on ebay, there have been really good deals in the past on them. You won't beat dual hyperthreaded quadcores with any AMD setup in a similar price range, especially with the lower power consumption of the "L" xeons. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-CS24-TY-Intel-Xeon-L5520-X2-32GB-RAM-Single-P-S-/272052074160?hash=item3f579136b0:g:k5IAAOSwZVhWT6HS
  5. KODI is the former XBMC, just a software suite with a nice interface, etc. Doesn't get you any shows on its own, but relies on third party apps or shared content on your network.
  6. Post pics? I imagine any hillside is a good enough backstop if its tall enough. Is there anything beyond your backstop? Officer was probably just giving you a hard time because he didn't know what to charge you with.
  7. Raspberry pi 2 https://osmc.tv/ Then google how to install superrepo and get addons like 123movies, phoenix, and you'll be having a good time.
  8. Somebody you know, that finds $50, and assumes it didn't belong to someone he knew or didn't care. I don't care about your age. If you have friends/family around and you find money, you give it back.
  9. Yeeep! Great card and a steal at this price. It's not going to be here long now. I just have something bigger in mind

  14. I was actually looking into RAID 0 SSDs today, after figuring out a bug with my mobo that cant be fixed with a BIOS update wont allow my nice new 950 Pro to boot... Result from my searching: RAID 0 SSDs offers very little real world performance gains. Just get a big SSD.
  15. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127834 Few months old. I'm going to something much more expensive $420 OBO
  16. You get to trailer it around the track and tell everyone about all the records you broke
  17. hope you dont plan on using cheap SSDs...
  18. Is there financing in the 0%, $0 down, 200 year range?
  19. 1. yes 2. msata, and m.2 are different things. I'm not sure what "super raid 2" is, probably some shitty onboard RAID. 3. download/burn/use existing windows dvd/flash drive and reinstall the OS. Windows isn't always happy about transferring, especially HDD to SSD.
  20. I will accept nothing less than the worst
