  2. 2010 return of Pinks All Out to Summit Motorsports Park

    So yes I got my ticket....again. Pays to be a web site architect I guess. lol

    ...and yes Summit's web site is one of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever seen. When I got that error after entering the driver info I tried it again several times by refreshing the browser to reset that form...but whatever web page that continue button was pointing to IMO probably hadn't been set up with the correct security and so it couldn't been found.

     

    The thing was that when I went back to the first page there was a timer counting down to say how much time I had left to finish the transaction. There was less then 5 minutes left so I'm guessing that everyone got about 10 minutes.

     

    I used 3 computers 1 XP Pro, 1 Vista Ultimate, 1 Windows 7 .... The Windows 7 machine got me in almost immediately at 12:00.

    woman i spoke to said they sold out entrant/driver tickets in 5 minutes

    Ok, all of you Hollywood hopefuls, here’s your chance for fame and glory! On August 27th, 2010, PINKS All Out returns to Summit Motorsports Park, and once again you’ll have the chance to be on national television! Anyone interested in participating in this long awaited event can get ready to man the phones or the internet, because that’s the only way you can get a shot at the seasons most anticipated night. In just over a week, on Monday, December 7th at 12:00 noon, we will open the phone lines and the website for the first 400 entries. Those lucky 400 will be eligible to become part of the PINKS All Out program.

     

    The last time Summit Motorsports Park hosted this show, the allotted 400 entries were sold out in 12 minutes! What does that mean to you? It means that you had better be waiting with the telephone in your hand at 11:59am on December 7th, or plan on buying a spectator seat and watching everyone else, because there won’t be any spots left. Don’t be left out of your only chance to be a part of this nationally televised program!

     

    We will have a full compliment of spectator tickets to this great show, and some wild entertainment to go along with the PINKS All Out program. We’ll be letting you know all about those details in the days to come, but today we want to make sure that those of you who want to be part of the on-track action need to be aware that you’ll only have one shot at this, so be prepared. We don’t want to see anyone left out, but there has to be a limit. So be prepared to get your call or your web-based entry in the minute the clock strikes 12:00 noon!

    I'm not gonna let some pissed off mom and dad ruin what I love to do, which is just drive my car around, and spend time with my friends. Not street race. They should feel lucky their daughter is still alive. Street racing has been illegal, and going on all over this country for over 50 years, this bill is not going to make it go away. Period.

    Having said that, I'm all for the bill with modifications that dont give a cop having a bad day reason to try and make my life harder than it already is.

    +110% That right its been happening for longer then that,not saying its a thing to do,who has not done it!hell Ive had cops (off duty) race me,back in the days when I was a youngin,we street raced every weekend ,we had assigned places out of the way Not on some interstate...we lived for that!

    now im older and wiser and way more lives at stake on the highways,so I go to the track, again bottom line get off your asses and vote do something,this is our hobbie/love what to protect what you have work at it! I am an ex marine I love this country and have fought to defend her,damn if I letting some bone head mess it up for ME! so stop fighting among yourselfs and get the common enemy taken care of!

    "Provides that any person who purchases nitrous oxide at retail in Ohio who uses nitrous oxide in a motor vehicle that the person operates on a public road, street, or highway in Ohio is guilty of falsification, a misdemeanor of the first degree."

     

    At least for part of this, you guys that use nitrous have missed the hole in the law that is the obvious way to get around it. ... let a friend that does not have nitrous buy it for you then they can't use "falsification" as a charge if you are stopped. It specifically says "retail" sale ... so it you by it from a friend it's not.

    thats what EBAY is for ,bet that makes the price of it go up well second hand,here's my take on that as well.. hide the shit.dont let them see it on your car ,honestly how many cops actually know what they are looking at,alot of them like cars ,if you do something stupid and get caught,keep your kool.

    I think this is all the more reason people should vote,I dont have a bike, but I have had nitrous on a car or two,and I do have a pretty fast car ,and I love to drive fast and have fun,cought /cought...you know what I meant,do it in moderation and you must use common sense. guess not getting caught is the key! bike car whatever you like to enjoy,we must all bann together and keep this from happening!

    It was a very fun day, minus the big end being fuckin scary on a bike!

     

    New personal best (motor):

    1.64 60' - 9.56 @ 147mph

     

    New bike record (motor):

    9.32 @ 148.97mph (Davis)

     

    New bike record (spray):

    9.16 @ 156mph (Davis)

     

    Thanks for all your help Dover, Davis, Chris, Josh...and thank for the 2lbs of nitrous Sam, I owe ya.

    was fucked up in a car as well had to dodge them pot hole and the damn chunks of concrete laying on the track!

    here is a video, was at trails last sunday,cant wait till next CR track rental,where is that green TA..lol..my street car is getting better ,need to get car to IPS and get tune finished,this is the current Fastest GTO in the state and in the great lakes forumns,leaving off the foot brake,time to use the trans brake and let er rip,car still has stock rear end and 346 gears,and I have been beating on it in the 10s for 3 seasons,just not dead hooked er yet,prob a good thing.congrads to my freind Andy in the first run the (yellow) gto for kicking tang ass..

    i made 5 passes at trails slowest was 140mph was so suprised they did not say:gtfo: at track :D
