Sorry,, brainfart... yeah just wait until the 'mortar' dries more before you grout it, once you grout it, let it set for a short period and you should be able to clean the front with a warm wet cloth and some elbow grease without too much concern for it sliding.. Too bad tomorrow will be filled with tearing apart that quad or you may be able to get it done.

Thats one of the problems of using all the small pieces instead of the pre-fab stuff. Its hard to wipe off the grout because of the sliding.. The other thing is that you may have had too much grout on the back of the tile if it was sliding around like crazy. That project looks like its going to take you some time.

Yeah the premade designs would have saved you alot of time, money and work.. The one suggestion I would give is while your laying it out, make sure you put the spacers in your layout as well or once you get it up, things may not look right.

Alot of the companies around here are cutting back their flying trips. The dowside is the they are furlowing their pilots and some are even selling their planes. I have my pilots license and so do quite a few people I know. It is a pretty hard industry for jobs right now.

Thats a great timeframe.. The only reason I went to Delaware was because I heard they were quicker.. Based on what you just said, that may not be the case.

Buying the Walmart 100 packs for the range is great. Either that or buying bulk online. I dont shoot the same thing at the range that I carry with. I shoot basic target grade ammo at the range but I carry Police Issue Tactical rounds in my CC weapon. I shoot them every once in a while just to stay fresh how they shoot as they definately shoot differently then the target ammo.

There are only so many track days in a year.. Much less then dirt days at wayne as those are rain or shine where as the track is not with the tires Im running. Not to mention that some people have taken a considerable amount of time and effort to help me get everything sorted out on that thing. It would be like having a good friend help you for countless hours building race bike and then you telling them that your not going to run it.. As much as I want to ride dirt with everyone, it would be a pretty shitty thing to do to the people that helped me if the weather permits track.. Trust me, Im torn as well.

I see the poll is sitting at 75% for the 26th.. the 26-27 is the very first track day at mid ohio and considering the money I dropped into the track bike this year, I would get my ass chewed by a few STT instructors/friends for missing that day.

Depending on what ranger stops you down there, you could be good either way. However, if the one guy who is evidently a pain in the arse stops you and you dont have a BMV sticker, be prepared to shell out a few hundered $ in fines... Its a 50/50 chance. The BMV sticker is good for 3 years.
