i love how that jackass completely misses the fact that she was going under the speed limit in the left lane. for fucks sake, move your slow moving shit wagon to the right!

i really want to build a sleeper out of one. gut the interior, since it's half gutted already, some stickies on the back, throw some cobra internals in there, and give it the boost or juice! http://f.kulfoto.com/pic/0001/0035/846o834250.jpg where is the timing belt located on a 4.6l mod motor?

wow, it's taken this long for a judge to say that this violates due process? better now than never. yea, all over. they didn't last long in heath at all. exercise your google skills, they've been banned and ripped off their poles all over the country.

i never said anything about simple or subtle. lamborghini does have a history of very clean designs though... the original countach LP400 was a MUCH cleaner design than the tacky garbage that was pushed at the end of the cars run. http://atspeedimages.com/image.php/dfb2a930-a181-11dd-d8a1-0019e3f8e432/branded/1964_lamborghini_350gt_touring_production_prototype.jpg of course, the car that kicked it off - 350GT - was obviously not about "shock & awe". simply the epitome of timeless design! http://www.ssip.net/upload/lamborghini-miura-p400-front-1_129.jpg and the gorgeous mieur goes without saying! even the diablo was a very clean design, unlike the sesto elemento, reventon, this new veneno(or whatever the fuck it's called). the urraco is another very clean, beautifully designed lamborghini, but i won't spam this thread up with any more ancient lambo pics.

i just posted a rant about this over at svtperformance. no one gives a shit about timeless desing any more, it's all about the shock factor. it's without a doubt the greatest time for automotive performance, but we're in the dark ages of automotive design.

i'll be interested to see the outcome of this(despite the fact that i can't stand any beer). i have a feeling that AB will be winning.

holy shit, that's a HUGE difference. i always felt like youtube should be much faster than it is, but never really gave it much thought.

i took this course last summer, and it's WELL worth anyone's time and cash! it's simply the MSF basic rider course, only subsidized by the BMV, so it's the same as any other MSF course around the country(it'll just be more like $150 instead of $15...). the bikes are pretty awful - 250cc cruisers, although they did have 2 cool as hell yamaha TW200s - but they do the job. so, yea, that's a +1 for the MSF basic rider course! and, if anyone in ohio is looking to take it through the BMV, then you better sign up now, because it fills up about 3 months out.

Any entry level welding jobs out there?
Ry_Trapp01647545522 replied to Ry_Trapp01647545522's topic in The Meat Market
alright, dropped off a resume at mid ohio steel in pataskala, and filled out an app and left a resume at rogue fitness. i'll take whatever i can get, but i'm really hoping rogue fitness gives me a call, it really looked like a cool place to work at! would love to make use of that gym too... oh wow, i've heard of a couple of these places in detroit, san fran, etc. but i didn't know we had one in columbus! i'm all over that shit! -

thanks for the suggestions, this is definitely a field i want to get into so any advice i can get i'm taking to heart! i would love to take a course at the lincoln or hobart schools, i've heard a lot of good about those programs. not cheap, but i would imagine they can pay off quickly. nice! i e-mailed them my resume but i'm gonna try to get out there next week and talk to them. i might just take a labor position and try to work up to a welder slot considering my welding experience is so limited right now. anything to get my foot in the door! -

in all likelihood, it's the jalopnik rendering... http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/images/12/2011/11/xlarge_d2daf6e012dd8fce517f25acb330303b.jpg http://www.corvetteconti.com/photo-gallery/data/537/REAL-C7-2014-CORVETTE-PICTURES.jpg note how close the rear is compared to the CAD shot from the link. overall, looks like shit IMO. then again, i always thought the C6 ws just OK looking, and the C5 was far FAR better looking. much sexier and much more exotic. if this is the C7, then it's the epitome of tacky. then again, this coming from the same company that put out the 5th gen camaro:barf:

GM Builds 100-Millionth Small Block
Ry_Trapp01647545522 replied to 3.1cutlass's topic in Passing Lane
I've been trying to find an answer for this for a while; why in all hell don't diesels get carbon build up on the intake valves??? Higher combustion chamber temps preventing the build up or something? -
As good as it may be, some of us just don't like that ugly ass turd. I hate the shit out of the GT-R, it's like the anti-enthusiast car, but it's a DAMN good car regardless.

Ford Unveils The 2013 GT500 - 5.8L and 650HP
Ry_Trapp01647545522 replied to 2011SVT's topic in Passing Lane
Just found out that not only is the 5.8l running 15PSI vs 10PSI for the 550HP 5.4l, but compression has also been bumped from 8.4:1 up to 9.0:1! I really can't wait to see what just a tune does for this animal! Yep, GM officially released the ZL1 weight at 4120lbs:megusta: 3850lbs for the GT500. the boss 302 comes in at 3630lbs, and the mustang GT at 3600 even(6 speed). -

Ry_Trapp01647545522 replied to 2011SVT's topic in Passing Lane
Also, look out for HUGE gains from just a tune - the '13 GT500 is pushing 15PSI out of the TVS supercharger right from the factory. Yea, and I'm about to sell it because it gets shit gas mileage and it's nickel and diming me(4WD solenoid, AC compressor, front shocks, idler pulley, hood struts, battery, etc.). My first car was a '92 cavalier Z24, and my second was a '93 tracker, but you can think whatever you want.
