  5. As said, THANKS for the CR day @ Trials! Thorne and Mrs. Thorne, nice ot meet you.. we just installed a new clutch set up thursday night.. we made 5 pass's in all. Did not make a all out 100% pass.. best today was 9.59 @ 139 1.32 60 ft. by the 3rd pass, we were starting to carry the front wheels alittle bit, even tho that BIG bald spot in the left lane. SO i have to say we are very happy with our car today,, and are ready for the stick shift nationals next saturday (oct. 11) at Edgewater raceway park, in cicnci ohio.. they have a street class too guys,, would liek to see some of you come down... Thanks Mike
  6. No Music in the little POS,, but this has become one of my favs before we head out.!
  7. im all the way out at Buckeye Lake (my shop) and i will be at the mopar nats this weekend.. I could pressit saturday evening around 6 pm if you want, just drive out, (no charge).. but if you have a car quest or NAPA store in delaware, generally they would press it for you for around 30.00,,, would be best to buy the bearing from them too if you go that way.. send me a pm if you want to take me up on that offer fro saturday evening. Mike
  8. Scotty, the POS currently is sporting a 430 AMC eng. with a set of Indy SR heads that flow 362 @ .700... the car weighs 3000 lbs. and i use a Jerico in it.. the current config. is all motor, and i have been a best et of 9.56 @ 141. I have what i call a small motor. 406 c.i. that i have a set of 6291-c's that have been heavily worked, they flow 315ish @ .700, and that engine went a best of 10.14 in the POS last year.. Curently i am having another engine being built.. a All Aluminum Indy block with the Big heads, it will be 496 c.i. i plan on putting that engine in my Hornet hatchback, coupled with a Liberty 5 spd.. shoot me a pm if you like, and ill give you my # if you want to B.S. about AMC's. Mike
  9. we were looking forward to the track rental at 42. Withthe rescedule tho.. we are already entered @ the Mopar Nats. Have fun guys, (gals)
  10. Scotty, why are thinking of the upgrade? are your current heads have dog leg x/huast ports, or retangler x/ports? the dog legs flow a bit better and they use 1/2 headbolts... you can get a set of Iron heads to flow very nice, with out the extra cost of eldys. or Indy's.. wanting more< street car or Race type car? need alittle more info on what you are looking to do..
  11. if it is still out, i'd also go ahead and replace the rear main seal.. Just for piece of mind. and Like Antwon sugested about building oil pressure.
  12. And if your further East. i also have a pressure gauge, with many adaptors for cars/trucks with out scrader valves. have you cleared all the codes, and the crank sensor code came back?? Also if it has a MAF sensor. they can cause troubles, but yet set no code. send a pm, and we'll get you fixed up. Mike
  13. Our local AMC club helps @ the Nats... keep in mind that NOw the Mopar Nats. is the biggest event NTR has now adays. we have been to brice road several times. But i do agree Heath (st route 79) saturday night is the place to be... Heath wants the Mopar peeps. money.. I would not expect it to be a free for all in heath tho.. they started tamming it down some last year, due to all the accidents involving street racing and pro mods going out of control on public roads.. It is the weekend of Aug. 9th.. Last year we cruised the cummins dodge... have no ideal what we will be cruising this year tho.
  14. 121861 miles on it at this moment. the clutch is in good shape, and operates smoothly.

Thanks for the space.. Mike

  18. Chris, sounds like you have hit the nail on the head.
  19. Doesn't sound like you need to have a car to impress clients... Sooo. I personally would look for something comfy, looks decent, and good on gas..
  20. Great Job Anthony... we will see you saturday..
  21. well will be headed southbound after the race, we can throw a tow strap on the back of our trailor and drag you down 71 as well 99ta... Don't worry about breaking it. just have your AAA paid up. There will be enough of us to push you out of the track, and onto the main road, then you can call AAA... see lots of choices..
