Me and a buddy of mine were out screwing around the other night after we left work and were racing down a back road (yea not exactly much of a race lol) and i started smelling something funny. I looked down the the temp gauge and it was little higher than normal, up to the 4th bar but has never gone past the 3rd before this even if i did beat on it. So since then, ive have noticed a slight hint of the smell when the car gets up to the 3rd bar. Well i had to run out to do some stuff a little bit ago, but never really noticed the smell. On my way home i about ran over by some dumbass in an f-350, so i had to get on it to get out of his way. Then i got a big wiff of it, alogn with the temp gauge being up at the 4th line again. I pulled off to where my buddy works and we were looking around for leaks or anything, but the only thing we really saw was a tiny amount of smoke coming from the lower front or what should be the right side of the motor. we could also faintly smell it to. I cant say that ive ever smelled coolant burning, so im not sure if it thats or not. We did check the oil to see if there was coolant in it, but it seems ok and the car isnt smoking like it should be with a blown head gasket. Any idea;s on what to check for?

I know national trails used to, but not sure if they do anymore.

triple. I dont know well they would work, but i have drag radials/slicks for it and im sure i could warm them up enough to stick a little lol

The sad thing is, even with 6 cylinders working, your car is still probably faster than mine.

yea, unfortunately it does. i tried to put them on earlier but they were rubbing on the brakes.

Well, just the fronts anyway. ill be getting the rears after christmas, but i just couldnt pass these up. Found them on craigs list from a guy right out here in pataskala. it came with the tires to which are mickey thompsons ($140 a piece). The rims are 8 years old, but you would never know it, they look like brand new. I paid $300 bucks for both. that thing is awsome. i think it was the 3rd race in that vid (the 9.2 run), if i were the guy in that all out looking race car, i would cry since i 4K pound street car with TT's just stayed right next to me all the way down the track.

nobody is really sure yet, but even the GM engineers have said you can turn up the boost and make insane power with it.

like i said, im in to help for the drop off to. a get toogether sounds pretty good to.

hows that? lol my car weighs only about 3200 with about 300 hp and i run about mid-high 13's. oh and buck, as soon as i get my long tubes and tune, im taking you down and the next track day lol
