Well my dad did anyway lol its more a project car we are gonna be working on, but still pretty nice. Its a 1984 mustang GT with 302 bored to a 306. Not quite sure what all is done to it, as the last owner bought it the way it is without asking any questions. We do know it has after market heads, a nice sized cam and a holley carb, but thats about it. Its supposed to be good for mid to low 12's as is, but currently has no 2nd gear, and a bad clutch.

plans for it so far are a new carb, auto tranny and some body work with a new paint job this winter along with some other random stuff.

Any way to check the PCM just for shits and giggles? I need to know without a doubt that the Opti is the crook...plus, once I remove the waterpump to get it out, I might as well put in the Meizere ($160+ extra bucks )...kinda want to avoid that by checking the PCM first...

dont waste your time checking the PCM. i can tell you right now its more than likely the opti spark.

correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure if the pcm went bad, the car wouldnt run at all...

yea i do remember that. the only difference is, the cops didnt show up till she called em that time, they were already there when i got there friday though. maybe it is just a coinsidence though

the people who got away cant be nailed...fingerprints dont have anything to do with anything... wth are you talking about? if the people got away, theres no way the cops can prove they were driving the car at the time of the bust...what can they do? dust the car for fingerprints and see whos hands were on the steering wheel? that wont hold up in court because the person driving the night of the bust might have had gloves, they cannot prove that the owner was driving at that particular time unless they are caught at the scene

i blew past a cop on broad street one night doing about 90, my friend that was well behind me called and said the cop was after me, so i took off and made it home. 2 minutes later the cop flew by my house and must have saw my car cause he locked up his brakes. i just stood there and waved at him, and he ended up just leaving and didnt even say a word

This is also why I tried to stay away.... should have been a new spot every other week or something. So where is the new meeting spot??? I vote the court house... maybe save the government on gas.... maybe a tax write off or maybe discount bail???? But we have to be smart and race the same place every Friday and Saturday night.

Not only that, but like someone else posted earlier, where ever the new spot is needs to be kept to CR members only.
