For those who actually race something other than a mini van, keyboard, or your wife's reproductive system, and are tired of political talk, who wants some this spring?
To keep things someone nice no money down or required
Can be on the track for those who don't race on the street
Make your call out here, lock in races here, and have fun
And no Gary, I won't bracket race you.
Fuck, you know me to well lol. I completely missed the bottom line before i made my post

Aby update good buddy?
Ide feel bad taking your money again, but i will.
At the rate im going, i wont have any to bet lol

I'm down, but in all fairness the Corvette is going to blow your doors off.
Have you done anything else to it?
-

Scott in the vette, heads up dig
Wagner in his car, bracket style for shits and giggles since we have talked about it for years.
Clay, ill run the ctsv
Grant, come get it whenever you want buddy. You messaged me back in october about that open track day that the 740 guys put on, but you never showed

Pretty much just stick to drag racing anymore. Eventually want to get into some autocross.

Hard choice.
The firebird was my first love. Had/have alot of fun in that car, as well as met alot of great people because of it.
The GTO is just an amazing car to drive. Rides pretty nice, handles well enough to have fun on some back roads, the seats are amazing and best of all, ls powa lol
Car i hate the most is probably scotts camaro. I used to be one of those guys that said "i dont need no LS!", Then scott made me trade him cars for one pass out at trails and i realized the error of my ways. Hence why i spent 13k on another car that spends most of its time in the garage

Can you get me the hook up on some gto parts? I know they are a bitch, but you work for gm, so you can handle it right?
-
Hide helmet, tell them the car is stock, then get it back out when they walk away. After they tech you, they never check again. Hell the helmet ive used for 10 years isnt even close to legal lol

Jesus christ your old lol jk, happy birthday man
-
Ill be there at some point lol
-
Sadly im out for this one.

Talked with someone from the Topeka track today and you can expect some BIG changes at trails.
These guys are not playing around and they are planning to bring the track to its former glory.
Business as usual is not how they plan on doing things, I will leave it at that...
Thats what i wanted to hear

Bracket racing keeps the lights on, having good special events helps fill the stands.
The fact it's a group that already owns a track that's doing the sniffing around makes me really think it might happen.
If I get some solid info I'll pass it along for sure.
There are SO MANY good tracks in Ohio we are spoiled. It's important to support the tracks as much as possible, we are very lucky.
The fact we have a rental lined up at Dragway 42 is amazing
Not anymore sadly. Trails has made to many mistakes that have just driven away even their loyal crowds. When i first started racing, it was 15 to race, 5 to spectate. When the economy went to shit a few years, less and less people were coming out anyway, so what does trails do? Makes it 15 to just watch. Not to mention they have pretty much refused to do any real track prep, and people are getting tired of it. Wednsdays are a joke anymore.

Probably gonna have to pass on this one

Every time I see a non-V8 Mustang I cry ery tim
As Dave Matthews says, stay American baby
Was gonna say something, but to be honest, after buying my gto, even just for the sounds, i wish i would v8 swapped the bird sooner lol

Pretty much what geeto said. If you go too big, you lose back pressure. Depending on how big you go and how far forward (towards the engine) you go, it can make a noticeable difference. Like my firebird for instance, when i put a cut out on that car, i was told i wanted it as close to the engine as possible. Bad idea. I put it where the cat used to be, and when you would unbolt it, you could tell there was a loss in torque.

Thanks to everyone that came out and to everyone that makes CR what it is.
I've had a really long year with work demands plus moving to BFE, so this was the best I could do in lieu of a 2nd private rental. We'll see what next year brings
I think i have to agree with you on doing it the same way again next year and have a full rental in spring and this again in the fall. Its a blast sitting up in the tower watching.
My turd had traction issues all day on apple cored nitto's. Ran 13.3 spinning to a 2.1 60 on my second pass while it was still cool out. After it warmed up it hooked a little better, but was down almost 2 mph and still ran 13.3. Not bad for a stock 3700 pound ls1 though lol

I still need to get it tuned again. Clutch is broken in now, but I doubt she gets tuned in time for sunday.
That sucks. Still gonna run it?
-
Wanna get that cobra drug by a stock LS? Lol kidding. Cant wait though, gonna see how close i can get this pig to the 12's
