im not quite sure, ill have to try to find it lol. All i remember is that it made peak power at around 5900, not sure on the torque. Unfortunately, my times have all sucked since the gear swap due to high heat and humidity (my car goes nuts in warm weather, im usually off around 4 tenths in warm weather vs a nice cool day). But i guess for comparisson sake, the car ran a best of 13.85 @ 96 mph at the ntr rental and it was nice and some what cool then. Last night it went 13.97 @ 95 with a DA of right about 3000.

i just put 4.10 gears in the firebird and had it tuned for those gears. Well i dont know if im doing something different or what, but after the tune, i ran the car on the street and the car was shifting just a a hair over 6k rpm. At the track last night, it was shifting at 6500. So basically my question is, if my car makes peak power at about 5900 rpm, how bad is it hurting my times with it shifting that high?

i know what you mean, im in the same boat. I havent really calculated my bonneville mileage yet, but my firebird averaged near 30 mpg and thats with gettin into from time to time.

you all have fun lol yes they have hpa, they charge like 3 bucks a fill though at fran bar. i dont know how the fields look, but me and a couple buddies used to go set the fields up for them, but they would turn around and let a bunch of little kids fuck it up 2 days later, so i avoid that place as much as possible lol.

in the 5 years or so ive been driving, ive owned 4 pontiacs and still have 2 of them. Plus ive just always liked pontiacs

Thats awesome brian, lets hope there are many more years to come to. i know people are all going to have there opinions no matter what anyone else says, and as brian said, you cant always make EVERY person happy. But as a person and a tuner, brian is one hell of a guy. he does his absolute best to take care of his customers, and thats why brian will be the only one to get my business, as will he be the only one i refer people to.

you amuse me. Since your actually entertaining, when you actually get that scrap heap running, unlike most dsm owners, ill give you the privelage of running my bonneville instead of my pedal bike. If all your talk is true and you can beat the bonne, i may feel abligen to let you see the ass end of my firebird (well this all assuming your pile can stay running long enough)

you really should listen to some of this advice these guys are giving you. a couple things to think about, i dont care how well built some one says a car is, it can still go boom at any time. hell ive seen shop built boosted cars go blow sky high with in months, including several turbo hondas running on a measly 8 psi. And another thing, when i started looking for a mustang/ fbody a few years ago, my dad gave me some great advice. He told me to avoid buying already modded cars at all cost. this was good advice because 1, you dont know everything that has been done to that car. They may say they did everything right, and it may look proffesional, but there have been just that 1 little thing some one decided to go cheap on, and its gonna cost you. Not to mention the fact that if it was modded, it was probably beat on to (and not to try to take business away from anyone, but there is no way in hell i would ever trust a boosted car thats been beat on)

13.85 @ 96 was my best. im kinda dissapointed i didnt get my 4.10 gears in. i would have liked to see what it would have done.
