  1. Tell me where the body is while it's still warm.
  2. No, single too, just stirring the pot. Too much hand holding going on in here.
  3. So you old single fucks are in here holding each others hands now, gonna rub each other's dicks tomorrow?
  4. I call BS, your just an old narc looking for info. -rep
  5. he's blind, or the body lift fell off :flipoff2: congrats!
  6. And your point is? who fawkin cares how fats it goes. My jeep has done over 100 in the desert. Does that make me cooler? Just because you can doesn't make it right. If you ever grow up and get some gears you'll love that jeep way more. the 4 banger is very lacking with 35's. don't bother re-gearing it, and it's that much worse. Stupid statements spew out of your mouth on a daily basis huh?
  7. you're on crack! yeah the 4banger has 4.10's in the diffs. But most 4.0's have 3.55/3.73. And with 35" tires to be remotely decent final drive you'd need 5.13's minimum(which your stock axles can only go 4.88). You think it's fine because you're used to it.
  8. as are as mods, that TJ doesn't have anything worth much money added. probably $400 lift kit, $150 body lift, and $200 in stainless stuff. I'd say market 7500-8500. unless the miles are really low(didn't pay attention).
  9. forget the looks then, and figure $300 for some decent springs, and $250 for some decent shocks if you plan on driving it much, or will let a wife/SO drive it. check the tracbars as well, with a lift they should be addressed, feel for signs of bumpsteer as well. use them as bargaining points. quick easy fixes.
  10. holy ugly fawkin body lift batman! looks like that thing drove through quadratec with the crap magnet on. not trying to ruin your day, but the springs are saggy as hell, the rear bumperettes say 1980, and the body lift is queer. I paid less for my 98 TJ when I bought it in 2001. Keep looking. If you need hel-p, I know of several sitting around. and for reference here is an old pic of my junk. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/lugie/iroksm.jpg edit: what too look for; body lifts are a cheap way to mall crawler status. The rear driveshaft will be an issue I guarantee it's still a slip yoke. The rear diff is a D35. (I'm guessing your a car guy, 33's on a D35 is like slicks on a 10bolt with 400hp :boom: ). the shocks are cheap, the springs are skyjackers. The spring rate isn't good. You'd be WAY better off finding a stock ride, in one afternoon you could have a better driver and trailrig with minimal investment.
  11. both were shitholes, but I had a blast at them both. We made lots of money partying in those houses. Columbus for a time, in Cleveland now.
  12. Lived in 50 ashford, 81 linden, and out by BC. BU alum 05'
  13. Tig, and stainless rod here, blast cabinet(but thats on you), and acetone is on the shelf. Shop is in dayton though. Sounds like you should be taken care of.
  14. How does the prepaid legal work, I signed up for it through work. Got a 50 in a 35, and a ran red light ticket(which was bullshit). Tried to call for price of my ticket, damn thing hung up on me 4 times. I guess I'll call the lawyer in the morning. edit: Anthony: did you have to show up in court, or can the lawyer handle it for you?
  15. Davies jeeps- lots of TJs laying there(northeast ohio) what door do you need? full/half? soft? Care about the fender color? interested in flat fenders or just stock? jeeps (specifically tj's) are tough to find in junk yards. jeepsunlimited.com has a big classifieds section. local clubs with possible parts: NEC, Ohio4x4, cincyoffroad(c.o.r.e), muddy buddies(these guys would be my first look for what you need). I've got some fenders, but probably not what you want, all are pretty messed up, offroad use mainly. just so you know all TJ's use exactly the same parts.( 97-06). Quadratec, and JC have brand new fenders/doors as already noted. if you need drivetrain/suspension stuff, pm me.
  16. if you suspect a bad R&P setup, pull the shafts. and take a pattern in a couple places around the ring gear.(make sure you load it with a lever of some sort) Take pictures and post them. check backlash as well. Without a dial you can't be accurate, but you can feel when it's way tight or way loose.
  17. manual Tube expanders for flaring are pretty cheap. I've seen them at harbor freight even if you only need two flares done.
