  1. I have the Lincoln version, the MKT with EcoBoost. The MKT is a little more cash, but looks better and has quite a bit more plush factors, and less plastic. It did turn 14.38 @97.2 for me... I've thought about tuning it, but with the newer engine and transmission, I think I'll keep the warranty in place for now.

The biggest problem I've had so far is with the brakes. The dealer replaced them at 2k miles due to several known issues and TSBs. It's run fine since.

I also average about 21mpg on the highway and about 18.7mpg combined. It's a nice vehicle.

I bought these tires 2 years ago, used them for the drive up from Miami to Ohio, and not much else. They are a good radial tire, but I prefer the drag radials. These might have 1500 miles on them and have been stored in my garage for almost 2 years.

    If interested, PM me.

  3. Cool. I'm from Miami too. Welcome :)

Smack dab in the middle of Orlando, originally from Miami. Used to go down there for some meets and then to Tampa on the weekends. And yes Galloway effin blows, but i live next to DynoTune so i guess thats my silver lining!
  4. Work kept me from attending today's race, but I hit the track last weekend and made a new personal best run.

  5. The heads and cams are identical. The difference is the weight of the Cobra's forged internals. If the Mach is stick, only the crank is forged. If it's an automatic, none of the internals are forged. The non-forged internals are cast and are much tighter and lighter, reducing the amount of power lost in just moving those parts. The Mach's engine is identical to a stock Marauder's engine, so I have some experience :)

If I have two identical Marauders, one with a stock engine and one with a forged engine (otherwise exactly the same), the forged engine will be 20-30hp less, guaranteed. The benefit is though, the forged engine can take a lot more abuse and make more power at the end of the day.

  6. I had a good time there today as well. Not too many cars really, and the temps were nice too. But that tailwind turned into a headwind which made things interesting. lol

    Three runs:

    11.78 @ 116.78mph w/ 1.76 60'

    11.94 @ 116.68mph w/ 1.85 60'

    11.95 @ 116.69mph w/ 1.88 60'

Time to put the car up for the winter. :(
