I leased the MKT at Krieger Sawmill L/M back in May.
-
I have the Lincoln version, the MKT with EcoBoost. The MKT is a little more cash, but looks better and has quite a bit more plush factors, and less plastic. It did turn 14.38 @97.2 for me... I've thought about tuning it, but with the newer engine and transmission, I think I'll keep the warranty in place for now.
The biggest problem I've had so far is with the brakes. The dealer replaced them at 2k miles due to several known issues and TSBs. It's run fine since.
I also average about 21mpg on the highway and about 18.7mpg combined. It's a nice vehicle.

Tires have been sold. Thanks
-
Nitto 555 295/45/18
I bought these tires 2 years ago, used them for the drive up from Miami to Ohio, and not much else. They are a good radial tire, but I prefer the drag radials. These might have 1500 miles on them and have been stored in my garage for almost 2 years.
If interested, PM me.
$300 OBO

FYI, I'm showing as 11th and 16th. Please remove 16th

Cool. I'm from Miami too. Welcome
Smack dab in the middle of Orlando, originally from Miami. Used to go down there for some meets and then to Tampa on the weekends. And yes Galloway effin blows, but i live next to DynoTune so i guess thats my silver lining! -
Work kept me from attending today's race, but I hit the track last weekend and made a new personal best run.

I took the Marauder to Rob yesterday to have the rear-end replaced. He had the old unit out, everything cleaned up nicely, and the new unit put back in perfectly.
The car feels and runs great once again! Thanks Rob!
-
I want less than 11.5. Once I get the rear rebuilt, I'll also have a set of slicks to go with it. That should do something.
-
1st pass:
11.658 @117.55mph
Blew out my Eaton posi on that run. Time to rebuild!
I had a great time though!

Congrats Rob!

Thanks
It's a Lysholm twinscrew by Trilogy Motorsports.
Nice Whipple. -
The heads and cams are identical. The difference is the weight of the Cobra's forged internals. If the Mach is stick, only the crank is forged. If it's an automatic, none of the internals are forged. The non-forged internals are cast and are much tighter and lighter, reducing the amount of power lost in just moving those parts. The Mach's engine is identical to a stock Marauder's engine, so I have some experience
If I have two identical Marauders, one with a stock engine and one with a forged engine (otherwise exactly the same), the forged engine will be 20-30hp less, guaranteed. The benefit is though, the forged engine can take a lot more abuse and make more power at the end of the day.

Welcome to CR! I've seen you around the area!

I think I may show up to see what it's all about

I've been looking into this one. http://www.ixwebhosting.com/index.php/v2/pages.dspmain?PID=1560015Anyone know if its as good as it looks? I guess they are also based in columbus.

I don't think I'll be able to make this re-reschedule

I had a good time there today as well. Not too many cars really, and the temps were nice too. But that tailwind turned into a headwind which made things interesting. lol
Three runs:
11.78 @ 116.78mph w/ 1.76 60'
11.94 @ 116.68mph w/ 1.85 60'
11.95 @ 116.69mph w/ 1.88 60'
Time to put the car up for the winter.

I saw that too
Looks like rain this saturday.
