i drove a v6 Prado in Saudi Arabia. i loved it. that's why i was eye-balling the gx. i was wondering if there are any issues with the 4.7 or the frame. i know some early model tundras had frame issues.

some rumors are swirling amongst the fan-boys that this is the beginning of the end of the STI... or at least the WRX/STI split. maybe one car in the future. :sadbanana: really? that sucks even more for the STI

One on the major problems is the "upgrades" that the STI now has aren't usable on the street. They're beneficial only when tracking the car. I don't know if anyone here follows Subaru of America, but they won't honor the warranty if the car has been tracked. I'm guessing a Stage 1 or 2 WRX will win out when buyers go shopping.

yes but, they didn't have to make it an impreza. they make the BRZ that weighs 2800lbs. as for the engine, FA engines in the BRZ are getting +400whp without so much of a hiccup. they could've pushed the STI to at least 330.

I think it goes back to the old Japanese gentleman's agreement of no cars above 300hp, you know, before the latest GTR. Subaru has a hard time keeping up.

I agree with all of this. I'm thinking a '15 mustang with the turbo 4 would be a better purchase from everything I've seen on both.

i have a bad feeling it's going to be the EJ. they might bump up the power a little bit, but i really don't think it'll have DI and, yes, it's a very homely looking girl

I'll fix this issue quick. School "summer" break now becomes "winter" break. Starts before Christmas, ends 2-3 months later. Graduation/new school year happens later in the summer, to coincide with college.
