Andy might be onto something there. I powder coated a set for another member last year in Gunmetal, and they looked killer on his black RX7.

MSD, and Ford racing have rpm extenders specifically for it. You can also do it by adding an MSD box.

Factory Rev limit for the 5.0 is 6250. 99% of the Ford Racing cams are designed around that powerband.
