  1. This is the exact gun I want. I will PM you in a bit.
  2. never have seen it but I want to now :lolguy:
  3. Wife drives a JDM CR-V lol. Just passed 100k miles. Pretty safe so that's all I care about.
  4. Someone posted this pretty bold info on the vette forums... kind of interesting even if not accurate...
  5. Yes a few times. The speed and ease of use far surpasses claybar. I was skeptical as well but finally ordered and do not regret it. They come in medium and fine grades and the fine seems to work well where I don't feel a need for the medium yet. Since they have developed the material now I am hoping they release some different forms of pads more suitable for hand use. As mentioned, just watch out for minor marring on soft paints. If you aren't going to do some sort of polishing after using a Nanoskin then tread carefully.
  6. After a light polish. Kind of a rush job. Lots of remaining swirling left but at least some progress was made.
  7. Developed for DA's but I just use it by hand. With the lube, go back and forth across the surface a few times in straight lines to decontaminate. If you drop it or get it dirty just rinse off. More cost-effective than claybar. Faster to use, easier, etc. This *can* mar super-soft paint so if you aren't polishing afterward be careful.
  8. Not so "free" when you have to pay to fix this mess... IS300 carnage...
  9. Actually looking at my calendar I am realizing I will be in the Outer Banks then. Ah well. I am taking the wagon out on the beach though to see how she does, haha.
  10. Seeing if my brother-in-law in Syracuse wants to take his new 5.0. Either way I will sponsor a car for decals if I do not go.
  11. Hmmm.. Ithaca is near my hometown. That may work out but I won't know for a few months. Might be in Europe then.
  12. Glad you could drop it off. I did snag a few shots of yours as well... Dots of BlackLight. This allows me to go over large areas of the car without even stopping the buffer: Applied and setting. (takes 15 minutes) Gently wiped off - All done:
  13. That is exactly something I wish more non-car people realized -- a properly paint-prepped and coated car is going to not only look better, but also be so much easier to maintain, not to mention guard against the elements.
  14. So get a BRZ?? :lolguy: Element, MR2, BRZ. The girl-car trend couldn't be broken. :gabe:
  15. Sorry we already have enough people named "Ryan" here.
  16. Sure I will be out in my car tomorrow. Lunchtime or something? The part that hits before the air dam is the fairing underneath the radiator. It's a good safety net to warn you before you actually hit the front dam. The manual actually states that scrapping the fairing is completely normal, lol.
  17. I leased a base Cobalt once (before my old SS/SC) and paid extra to trade it back in early.
  18. Whats with all the new people tonight? All with decent intros. Nothing to make fun of. Disappointed.
