  1. I should be there. Wish I could do some paint correction on the vette before all these shows but whatever.
  2. Interested in the nitrous if the kit would work on my car. We can talk next time I see you if you if you still have it. I already have the switch installed and ready to go. :lolguy:
  3. I really fell in love with this blue. Kind of strikes you as a sort of basic blue at first but the more I worked with it and the more light conditions I saw it in the depth and nuances were amazing. Let's see what we were dealing with. Improper care over the years plus road debris have not been kind... The wheels were in really bad shape and after 1+ hour of cleaning with various methods all that could be done was done. Ultimately they will need to be refinished. I think at one point someone tried to improperly polish one of the rear wheels -- so that one was is REALLY bad. Correction begins! Before: After: This is the gas door. Had tons of scratching from years of fill-ups. But not anymore... COMPLETE!
  4. same :megusta: Yea and my back is killing. :fuuuu:
  5. The uTube generation. Everything had to be filmed for some reason.
  6. wow what a disaster! Good info. Thanks.
  7. Considering you can eat off the floor I am not sure I would call it a garage. This. I believe in his personal garage he has one on the ceiling like that. I think for this he just wanted them to look good on the wall. I believe that beam is at an angle so it makes stuff look crooked in certain shots. A professional sign shop did the install.
  8. On 270 he did a pull past me and there was a decent amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust. Then on 315 a few hundred feet in front of me and Rocky all of a sudden HUGE smoke clouds covered the highway. He limped to the side while a bunch of others pulled over to help. Supposedly it was a good amount of damage with parts flying all over. I didn't stop because it was a cluster at that point.
  9. Turbo infinity blew engine on Easton cruise over. Damn.

    SAWMILL?

Please don't judge CR based on some of the people that will show up at sawmill. :dumb:
  11. The "meet" at Easton is just to gather and cruise over. I get there at 8:35. I don't think many get there at 8 to wait around. http://columbuscarsandcoffee.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/easton.jpg
  12. Yea it was Aquapell. Maybe there was a lapse in service since their manager quit and they are looking for a new one. So who did you use to correct the job they did on your car? :gabe:
  13. Some of you may have seen these on Facebook. I created some 9 foot wide wall graphics for Todd. 3 were installed this week and should make for some good reflection shots. His new space is incredible... and so are the cars.
  14. Welcome. Best intro in a while. Hope to see you around.
  15. Well for tint they aren't bad.. but beware of surrounding BS. I love dark tint. 15% looks great on your car. However I just couldn't go darker than 30. I enjoy how you can see in a little but you still have a lot of privacy.
  16. So many tint places I don't know about. Plenty of options to keep trying
  17. $180 sounds good. I was charged $250. The rear window looks to be even more challenging on vettes than on a RX7, but I am not a tint install expert. Quality Window Tint quoted me $325! They also treated the exterior glass with some sort of super-repellant -- which they didn't need to do because it already had stuff on it, and gave me a bottle of auto glass cleaner. Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice the missing items from my car lol.
  18. Over the past several years I have had 5 cars tinted by various places. This time I wanted to try Performance Auto Spa out in Plain City, mainly because it is fairly close to where I work. My overall review is mixed... The tint looks good. Edges are clean and close, lifetime warranty, etc. I am satisfied. But there were a few red flags which raised an eyebrow. 1. They said I could pick any %. So I picked 30. When I showed up they said it was more like 35%. No biggie but still odd. 2. They took items out of my car, including a pair of expensive prescription sunglasses and didn't put them back in. Took me a few days to realize it. They never contacted me about it. Luckily they didn't lose them and are dropping them off to me today. 3. They did a wipe down with some sort of quick detailer on the front of the car (not sure why) and it came out really smeary. 4. They pushed Griot's products hard, and while most of their stuff is fine, there are a TON of better alternatives especially when you get into polishes, etc. They are a Griot's supplier so they make big money off of selling and using their products. They SHOULD be pushing what is best for each individual car, not whatever they make the most off of. Which would lead me to NOT recommend them if you are going to have a car detailed. Who knows what they are using behind the scenes, and which flavor of the week high-schooler will be back there doing the work. Yes, I am a bit biased, but I would have several recommendations of places/people over them. Not to mention, they gave me some bunk advice on how to wash a car. :lolguy: Edit: I forgot -- dropped car off at 9am. Said it was scheduled to be first car done in the morning. Pulled in at 6pm and they were still finishing it up.
