Good idea. If people want to meet at Easton and leave earlier that is cool. But 8:40 seems to have worked out so far. I will be doing 8:40 this week and maybe next time we can try an earlier time and see how the turnout is.

Well I readdressed it. I think buckeye mania in the fall can get a bit over the top. You can't avoid it if you live in Columbus.

Replace the word "sports" in this thread with any other hobby and you could have the same argument. Cars, knitting, painting, etc. People are interested in different things. How is it a waste of time if someone enjoys it? I bet some think posting on car forum and modding cars is dumb. I casually follow a few teams because it is a great conversation topic with people where I work, my father, and the (few) friends I have.

As a newbie I like my Nikon D5000 (now the 5001 I think).

True.. maybe we could somehow do some sort of event to draw the crowd to Columbus at night. I could see an OHIO MILE COLUMBUS MEET or something and try to spread the word.

Wonder if the Ohio Mile will bring out the crowds and have a night scene at all...
