Thanks ! Thanks for your opinion! I like them but Im not crazy over them. They were a good deal from a buddy and they are uber rare. 1 of 2 sets in the US . I would like to get some Advan rs's or rgIIs but thats only money right!? Lol

Probably not, I didnt say I pull all 440whp cars, just a few. What do you drive? Obviously a lsx. In what car with what mods? Also, do you guys sandbag here or are you genuine about races in telling your oponent what you really have. People around here have a thing about sandbagging their car. For example if they have a camaro, lsx, they will say its close to stock when it really has x,y,z done to it with a 150shot. Not saying you do I am simply asking

You mean up?! lol Im leavin cincy around 10 to put me in cbus around 11:45 or 12 so after lunch I may stop by to check the shop out. Its funny, the lexus meet was a week after the columbus street racing crackdown last year and me and a buddy were out driving on polaris parkway and got stopped and the cop asked us if we were part of slowmotion and we were like "No? Were from cincy...why?" He didnt answer. so Ive heard of the shop before.

Technically yes, and technically no on the Jdm turbos. My cold sides are steel and my hot sides are ceramic. Its on 17psi now. I will turn it up when I get a race gas tune or something. I dont want to destroy them because I really dont want to swap them out with my spare set in the garage as its a pain in the ass to remove them, especially in the car haha. I want to try to max them out, conservatively lol. Still waiting on a DLI to install my USDM coilpacks and such, theyve seen as much as 15whp off of these on is300s ignition system. So total tuned with a DLI around whp on USDM coilpacks, they are that much better than the IS300s wasted spark system. Its still a fun car, it would be crazy with 450whp. My 255s already get worked haha

You guys should come out! It going to be a blast! Also there is a huge Nissan meet at the Quaker steak and lube on polaris parkway on saturday. Lots to do! Also is there anyone I can get in touch with that goes to columbus meets regularly? I want to get out like friday and drive around or meet up with a bunch of columbus racing guys. Where do you guys normally meet on the weekends?

Depends. I have the vvti 2jz. When I recieved the motor the harness was cut up. So I deskinned it and took the important sensors off of it and reskinned my stock is300 harness to fit the motor.

Far from bolt in, but if you get the correct motor mount combination then it will fit. The motor I got had the right mounts for the car. Everything else has to be messaged/fabricated to fit (like the transmission mounts, the shifter mount, the shift rod etc..)

Whats up everyone! I wanted to come back to Cbus racing and post up a few additions I have made to my vehicle since my intro thread, which is now closed. For anyone who didnt see my intro thread with the pictures just search my name on here and it will come up! I got it for free so I had it one for a fe weeks and decided to put the stock one back on. Ill have engine bay shots up in 10min. Before the car had a FMIC, Exhaust, Greddy Egarbage. SInce my intro thread I have added: supra 6 speed transmission brian crower 264 cams Apexi avcr boost controller @ 17psi. Haltech engine management Basically a bpu supra I had the car tuned professionally as well at 15psi without the cams. The car made 360whp on a dyno dynamics , I was pleased with it. I have raced a number of of cars pushing 440whp and have pulled them, not sure if the dyno reads low or not. IDK. Anyway I got the cams in and tuned last night to 17psi, I have yet to dyno it. Hell yeah man! I wish they would have put the tt in the IS to begin with. Fuck my life it didnt lol. I see you got a 1j in your sc, kick ass. Toyota should have never put a NA 2jz in anything IMO. On the v160 case, I really want to just get it over with. r154 is nice but I heard its sloppy. Id rather just pay the money and do it right as I have already wasted 1000 bucks on worthless 5spds. There are a few quirks that have to be worked out to get a 6spd in the IS, luckily its nothing major.

Why not run it under the carpet inside the cabin and through the firewall? I mean you can certainly intsall a thick line that runs along the underside of the car to the starter and such, but you will have to make sure its secured really well and not near any fuel lines. I guess going through the carpet and firewall would be more work than its worth.

The gte is definately heavier then the GE motor. All the cast iron on the twins, and the extra lines for turbo and IC and such. She badly needs new shocks. i am sure with a new set of shocks or coils it would handle just fine. As far as the evo deal, I might just keep it and pay it off. I could then use the money to buy the getrag 6spd and rear and everything else. We'll see. Thanks for all the good comments guys.

Thanks again for the comments guys. I am torn with the car. I so bady want to start on an evo project. It has been fun with the IS but I want to get into the Evo scene. IDk, I cant decide to keep it for a few more months to pay it off and then get and Evo or try and sell it to get an evo instead. Oh, and I think I blew out my throw out bearing. The tranny makes a bad knocking sound like a card in bicycle spokes. It goes away when I press on the clutch. It does it in all gears and neutral. Any ideas?
