  1. here ya go i only reved it up a little to about 2500 rpms http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/th_91lt1idle.jpg
  2. Thanks for all the compliments guys, really makes all that work worth while when people compliment it (and of course almost doubling the power output). I may be able to get a vid up later when i get home from work. Yes the car is an ohio car, and damn proud of it! Actually it spent most of its life in northern ohio if you can believe that one. There are a few spots on it starting to rust a little, like a stress crack at the corner of the drivers side window, but that will be fixed easily enough when i go to paint it. you can see a a couple pics of it in the thread "whats up" in the oven.
  3. You cant use the TPI set up on the LT1 because the bolt pattern is different and there are no coolant passages in the lt1 manifold. Like AJ said though a lot of people have the LT1/4 manifold modified to accept a traditional style distributor. I thought about doing that but my budget was getting tight. Thanks for the compliments.
  4. Sup guys just thought i would share my LT1 t56 into my 91 z28 originally equiped with a 305 TPI and a T5. Let me know what you think! http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/ltx-lsx/477470-my-lt1-swap-project.html
  5. wow...thats amazing. completley a sleeper look too. if you can call a zo6 a sleeper. Awsome vette.
  6. like i said ive heard good things. most people that do ls1 swaps at thirdgen.org use the ls7 clutch and have nothing but good things to say about it. The glazing issue has been brought up more than once, but is probably rare and dependant on specific conditions.
  7. ive heard good things about the ls7 clutch. but tends to glaze if you abuse it at the track.
  8. haha thanks. i think the paint is just the picture it doesnt look like that in person. The camaro on the other hand needs painted, nothing like 10 different shades of white.
  9. Thanks for the compliments. I have about 160 miles on the engine. Quite a difference than the old 305 TPI. The tpi was a head jerker from the get go but fell on its face after 3000 rpm's. This engine just starts to pull at 3000 and boy it pulls hard!
  10. Thanks. Here are some newer pics i just snaped. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/DSCF0110-1.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/DSCF0111-1.jpg Interrior shot, needs a new dash, but what thirdgen doesnt. And pay no attention to that 5spd diagram... http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/DSCF0112-1.jpg Current 355 LT1 shot http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/DSCF0115-1.jpg Quick vid. Poor sound quality but you get the idea. It has a real nice idle i think. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn71/bcdawg57/th_DSCF0116-1.jpg
