  1. would have been cool to see the rest of the video. guess it is a teaser to get you to buy the video. It is a creative race/bet.
  2. yep, Rays trans brake didn't hold. They gave the win to the black malibu. Then they were going to run the race just to see who would hae won and the black malibu got pushed off the track, not sure why. so they never really got to run. Ray would have walked him!
  3. This is for Ford or Ford powered vehicals only! Anyone can spectate for free. Gates open at 8am. Time trials start around 9am. you can hot lap the shit out of your car. eleminations start about 11am (you won't be able to join the eleminations unless you are a Mid Ohio Ford member) You can still do time trials between rounds. When you pull up to the gate just tell them that you are with the Ford club, you will get in free. FREE for spectators in the morning. Just tell them at the gate that you are with the ford club. Pacemakers regular event on saturdays starts about 1pm. WEATHER PERMITING - Pacemakers doesn't have anything to dry the track, if in question, just call the track before hand. Yes I will be there.
  4. I was there saturday night. But was looking for the videos to show a friend. Thanks
  5. find the type/brand of tire that you want to buy then go to their website. most tire company's will list tire size with recomend rim size!
  6. single adj front/rear. rear is 2 clicks from all the way soft front is 2.5 turns from fully stiff I think I am going to loosen the front up and see what that does
  7. Good time at the grudge races tonight
  8. Nope didn't take any pics! 75/25% Matt I haven't even played with the suspension yet. I tried to dump the clutch at 4k and spun. I spun hard and rode it out and wasn't watching the tach and hit the rev limiter before i reilized it was time to hit 2nd and ran 12.25. That was 1st rd on friday night! Needless to say but I was drinking beer a couple min later. lol
  9. Still the same amount of bracket racers I know I need to launch it harder. I tried to dump the clutch at 4k. it just spun. Its hard to launch a car that has 57% of the weight up front and 43% in the rear. But that is what I am working on. I have always dumped the clutch on all my 5/6 speel cars. It don't work. gonna be hard to hit that with a car/driver that weighs 3925lbs, don't ya think? with my tires? I know slicks will help but I need a few other things before I can put slicks on. SFI Aproved Balancer Blow proof bell housing drive shaft loop 3" wheel studs and slicks of course And I need a cage too!
  10. As far as adding power! only pully, CAI, tune and exhaust. Made 530/513 at the wheels. 10.2 PIG RICH Bunch of other small stuff too
  11. Yes I was. on a 1.74 60' on that one. The next pass I had a 1.69 60' but let off at the 1000' to keep from breaking out. I will be working with it. would be nice to see some faster times in the near future. but I don't have a cage and most will kick me off the track.
  12. please remove this one 18.CRAWDAD 11.66@121.30 1.80 60' 10-03-08--GT500--Supercharged and add this one CRAWDAD 11.46@126.85 1.74 60' 07-24-10--GT500--Supercharged Faster times to come as I am working on this new setup!
  13. 11.46@126.85mph I was on a faster pass on sunday during eleminations and aborted the pass at the 1000' mark to keep from breaking out and still ran 11.54@102mph. My honest opinion, it would have been 11.28-11.32 but I can't claim that until I get it. October air should be good to me!
  14. $10 one day pass for spectating or $20 for a 3 day pass.
  15. Stop by my pits. I am headed up on Thursday night.
  16. Thanks! I had the window tint. I put that on it whe the car only had 50 miles on it. That was my first mod......lol
  17. Need about $20k-$25k to do what I want with it. Then it might be in the 8's
  18. I finally got my car finished. I will be headed up to Norwalk this weekend for the "Fords on the Summit" race. July 23,24,25 Me and a bunch of other friends usually park where the return road enters back into the pits on the right side of the track. If you come up to spectate it only cost $20 for a 3 day pass. Here is a pic with my new wheels and tires! http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc84/croz98gt/my%20toys/2010-07-06_121603.jpg Stop by my pits if you are up there. Usually a lot of beer drinking going on in that area. I don't get to drink until I get put out, but everybody else does.
  19. My buddy Brian Legg usually races in that. He couldn't make it to that race. Not counting this past race, but his car has been in the finals the last 7 out of 8 races. You can look at the results on the track website. BTW....Great Job Ray!
  20. Always check your tire pressure before going on a trip. Over/under inflated tires will cause excessive heat in the tire and cause a BLOW OUT. Truck and trailer both.
  21. I have not had any work done buy him, but know somebody that did. I have raced with him for quite some time.
  22. http://www.sharxskinz.com/ His name is Rod Zolman
