  1. I used it in my DD when I hit 100k. The white smoke screen is epic. Make sure your trunk, hood, all doors are open, and that you're driving it backwards down the street to maximize the product.
  2. Just called him! Wife got in a fight with the curb. Don't know if she seen the curb and it mean mugged her or what... Apparently she dented up the rim pretty good.
  3. Thanks Jerrod! Brian... no video of the install but I'll see about getting one up in the next week or two. They sound awesome! Can't hear the blower anymore though...
  4. I'm going to miss the cars and coffee. You get your ride back together Jarhead?
  5. I really looked into it. I researched Summit's, QTP's, Pypes, RaceReady, you name it. Most of them only warrantied the EC's for three months, maybe six months tops if I remember correctly. My last call was RaceReady because they were probably another $80 or so on top of everyone else, but when the guy told me they warrantied them to the original owner for life, it was a no-brainer. Everything is very heavy duty, and they work great! I also substituted the bolt-in downturns that came with the kit, with ones that swiveled 180 degrees so that I could get the direction that I wanted. Glad I did! They can be pretty simple to fabricate too if you have the tools.
  6. A few weeks ago installed a nice cutout package from RaceReady. It's an awesome setup, and the cutouts are warrantied for LIFE, which is nice, so if I ever burn a motor they will replace it. The install was fairly simple - I cut out about a foot of pipe and inserted the y-pipe, strapped them in and bolted the cutouts on. The downturns took some extra cutting because of the low clearance. Then, ran the wires, hooked up the switch, and presto!! Quiet, loud, quiet, loud... http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/TS%20Stuff/P1040837.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/TS%20Stuff/P1040839.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/TS%20Stuff/P1040844.jpg I also had this lovely hole where I was *going* to mount the switch, but... that didn't work out. So, I had the idea of cutting and forming the old "SVT" sill plates and running them along the console. Turned out good! http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/TS%20Stuff/P1040849.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/TS%20Stuff/P1040896.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/TS%20Stuff/P1040903.jpg
  7. Carnegie is right next door.... don't have a quad though... It's nice... hasn't gotten below 55 during the day but we've been getting a lot of rain... Can you find out? BELIEVE me you can just as much fun in yours on these roads as in mine... think of Hocking Hills times I dunno, 10? You see those signs indicating windy roads except for "34 miles" lol.
  8. I didn't have anything changed, no, but I'm not modded so everything passed. If you don't have cats, you might have some issues. This state is a little jacked. San Fran is about two hours away on a good day. I don't make it a habit of going there often. The wifey and I are going to Alcatraz this summer, that should be fun - been a while since I was there. Moved. I'll have the CB on though.
  9. Seriously... there is nothing going out here in Modesto. Except for nice weather Here are a few pics from running around over the past few weeks: http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/Misc/P1040816.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/P1040771.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/gjsantos2/P1040762.jpg Miss cars and coffee! Hope the weather gets better for you guys! - Gabe
  10. I might just be speaking for myself, but the sol fact that I DON'T know anyone with a tricked out Geo says a lot. But that said, good luck. Sorry that we hurt your vagina.
  11. I thought the new SHO was absolutely freegahn HUGE... but, being a previous Audi owner, Audi FTW.
  12. I use my weekender on the weekend, and my daily driver daily. When the weather is nice, drive your weekender as a daily. When the daily days are shitty, use the daily, and keep said weekender in the garage. If you live in Florida, buy a weekender that's kept in the garage during the weekdays in Ohio and use it as a daily driver trash the daily. Keep in mind that you live in Ohio... So pretty much "don't sh!t where you sleep." In my humble opinion... of... course.
  13. Samsonite! I was WAY off! Lol, good 'nuff!! Let's go after the tranny, delete the s/c and put a TT setup on and you know... some... "other" stuff and put it in the sevens.
  14. No sh!t the GT500 is the next Terminator. There was a guy that brought his up to Brady at Pickups Plus and what, slapped another 120hp with a CAI and tune??? We todd it.
  15. Jah!! I'm out here in Cali finally and she calls me telling me it's acting funny... I tried to walk her through how to change out the coil but she said when she was trying to unscrew the bolt that held the coil in was stripping I told her to take it up to you guys. The other fellow I know in C'bus that knows a little about cars dropped the ball, so I told her to take it up to you guys. Apparently it was snowing and everything, so I appreciate you swapping it out for her in bad weather, definitely. It seriously means a lot that you guys did that and gave her the discount. Hat's off to you!!
  16. Not people that don't have a car ya dumb commie!
  17. Saying that we need to completely overhaul our medical situation is utter bullsh!t. We might need to change a tire or two, but replace the whole thing....??? Oh and don't get me going on how communist this nationalized health care thing is. Forcing insurance on me? Yeah... THAT'S IN THE CONSTITUTION!!
  18. Photoshop ftw.
  19. Why don't you just save your money and make the Geo RWD?
  20. Ford's getting all the buyers who used to be Chevy, lol.
