  1. id hope not. 10 years is a long ass time for a tire.

Perhaps on a race car, but what if I told you I have vehicles with 30 year old tires that are WORKING AS DESIGNED?

    Liability LOL

All I have is a cupped 205/55/16 continental, and 4 vintage 205/60/15 michelins

  2. It's hard to tell what kind of concrete you have in the picture there. Depending on the surface's chemistry I can't say that you achieve enough positive transfer to prolong the life of the pads more than maybe 5k miles?

If you want to come by my lab we can throw them under the microscope and verify their structure has been sufficiently altered, I can even heat treat them for you and measure their hardness. Let me know.

  3. DO THIS!!!

+1. You'll be screwed if you try to sell it with a salvage title, will devalue the shit out of it but at least you'll have money from the payout.

I wouln't want to have to sell a clean titled vehicle like that with major accident history, regardless of how nice it is fixed.

  4. Well, I think they're making the point that you don't launch your car in day to day driving, so that electric right-now torque is useable.

Yeah if I really expect to get cut off by a smart car I'll throw some revs before letting the clutch out and leave it, just on the principle alone. SUCK IT ENVIRONMENT!

  5. I'm with you- I've despised glock for as long as I can remember for the same reasons. Figured it wouldn't be fair to hate them until I've tried one, so I got a blue label gen 4 g19 and it's been perfect. Sure the trigger sucks, sure it's blocky, sure the sights are junk... but damnit it always works, has held up great, and it's accurate too. Eventually it will fail and I can complain about it, but it's going to be awhile.
