On my way home the other night, (in the passat :fuuuu:) saw a beauty of an e92, white with "das v8" as the plate. Sounded like straight pipes, was loud as hell, which I loved.

 

I've seen that guy in hilliard as well, downshifting and making all kinds of good sounds. Not as secksy sounding as a 911.

 

Seems like the Cayennes depreciate horribly which would make me think twice.

The sights, the smells, the sounds. When the weather is nice I enjoy a more immersive motoring experience.

 

And bikes are shitfast for like no money. Also, track days are much cheaper to run. And parking is easier. And you can get through traffic jams. And...

Last I checked a few months ago, you could still get pretty decent 964s for around $20k. 3 years ago I just missed an RS America on rennlist for $16k in pretty decent shape, but 3.2 carreras were like $15k cars then. WTF is going on with porsche people nowadays?

It won't turn on. Tried a couple different sets of new batteries, no go. Do they really have a lifetime warranty? I tried looking it up on their website and got discouraged for some reason, I forget why.

I've come to realize Surefire's aren't all they are cracked up to be, considering I had one break on me just from sitting in my car. At least if a cheap light breaks you aren't out a ton of money.

 

No kidding? One of my surefires gets banged around, dropped, left out, and still keeps working after 4 years? What broke on yours?

am I the only one that has about 33% of my LED or CFL bulbs crap out within the first year? Cheapy lowes or HD bulbs are junk, I swear. Saves you $3 in electricity, costs you $20 in replacement :lolguy:

Those are pretty miserable economy improvements, but the resale on diesels is usually substantially better. Many older VW TDIs sell for more than double their gas counterparts in similar shape
