Both my wife and sister learned to drive a manual on VWs, and neither had any problems. For a kid's car you want to stay away from a 1.8t, and look for a 2.0. If you're just looking for a beater $1000 car for a kid to kinda thrash and learn on you might be able to find a 1990s VW for that price.

Dank eh? Mind if i come over and investigate?
By appointment only. If you find a black widow there, you get a free hat
-
I have a mega huge barn, and a crawl space, a dank cool always-open basement, and I have never seen a black widow in any of them. Also, I'm pretty sure they're arachnids, not insects but I'm no spider-ologist.
If I were in your shoes I'd hose the hell outta the place with some nasty deadly bug-killing crap. I'd also recommend you wear gloves messing around in any kind of out-building. Especially in the dark. Especially if you have black-widows.

I still don't have any idea why everyone of you isn't in the mid to low 10s. You told me its like $1500 in parts separating you from being here. That means you are all doing it wrong.
It's been quite awhile since I've had an F-body, but back in my day just getting a rear end to hold up to that was considerably more than $1500, haha. Nevermind the rest of the drivetrain parts- slicks, clutch, etc etc etc AFTER you get your cam-swap done. It isn't like you just go buy a beat-ass z28 for $4k and put $1500 into it to run 10s all day long.

Do you mean old LT1 as in solid-lifter, 1970 LT1, or like new optispark LT1? I'm confused...

I get mine at Valley Nat'l Gasses, they used to have one in Hilliard.

Looks just like MW2- still just remaking COD4 I see. Thanks for posting.

"This is your intake charger you'll use when you race your car" or something. Really? Really guys? I hope people aren't judging our country's car culture by watching "pimp my ride."
-
great, now we're going to have every billy-badass sticking a washcloth over his face and pouring water down his nose to see how long he can last.
That's very interesting, thanks.

wow, 71 rounds? Obviously they shouldn't be issued automatic weapons because they wasted 60-something rounds of taxpayer ammunition.
I like the Bin Laden quote in the story. I hope someone bitch-slaps the reporter.

Fall of '08 is when the economy tanked. Obama was elected, stock market crashed, etc.
Yeah but he did wonders for the gun market!
I'd be all about some biodiesel co-op startup!

That makes sense and I haven't really looked into the BCM's durability in a SHTF scenario. It looks to be a good build, make sure you get a weight for us when you're done.
From what I've seen the BCM parts/rifles will perform 100% as well as a DI AR possibly can. I would not hesitate one bit to put them against COLT, LMT, or anyone else.
Midway has a pretty awesome closeout on the VTAC light mount a little bit ago... Hint... Also be forewarned if you get a QD swivel for the buffer tube, some of the brands don't have the locating slot cut far enough back to allow the QD mount to index securely... If yours doesn't go past the threads might want to have a file or cutter on hand. I've had to open up a few of these.

Can I stipulate that they don't give my stuff to child molesters, rapists, haxxors, and other degenerates?
-
Supposedly, they're redoing the network to better protect form this ever happening again. Anyone else also notice the sheer coincidence of XBox Live's little event the day this shit happened? Hmm...
Yeah, Microsoft was behind it all! I foresee the sales of failboxes skyrocketing in the next 3 weeks.
Also, what the fuck Sony? Seriously guys? We'll see how long it takes for a massive class-action suit to materialize, and a new disclaimer-rich PSN to pop up.
-
Good luck dude, you'll need it. I doubt anyone like that will get into office here unless it's through superior firepower.

School sure as hell isn't free! I just paid $400 to Jonathan Alder, AND $500 to Dublin! I don't even have kids damnit!
If you don't pay for it you can't use it. Busted!

A few years back when I took my motorcycle endorsement a lady took her on a scooter, she dumped it quite a few times, lol. That's the end of my experience, didn't look like much fun.
There were always people borrowing scooters for the test because they couldn't pass it on their sportbike/harley. I mean, you don't need to know how to ride the bike you actually ride, right?
-
I don't have much experience with the Hondas but I've worked on the Chinese and Italian scooters a bit, from 50cc 4-strokers to 180cc two-strokes.
I'd rather get a little worse economy and ride a sportbike honestly, but good for you.

Isnt it easier to get on nelson ledges (cheaper, more lax rules?)
IMO tracks just make it too difficult to get on. How many driver schools or lapping sessions do you need to invest $100s of dollars on just to be able to go out and freely drive the piss out of your car? Kinda frustrating.
Seriously. This is why I started motorcycle track days. $200 is closer to affordable.

Speer gold dot, winchester ranger-T, done. For pistol, or something else?
-
The ejection port is huge
But it still won't eject live rounds worth a crap
-
I'd look around for the Aimpoint PRO. If you can find one it's the hot deal going, (at $400) and it comes with a newer, better mount than the old ones.
-
Seen it before. Haxxors everywhere! All you can do is leave the room and try another one.
-
I'd be up for a vickers course. Not to mention his slings are pretty handy.
Happy Independence Day
