  1. Hay Guys,

There is a good chance that I will be threre as well.

If I make it I will be bringing our 1989 Turbo WOODY Mini Van, which we call DERWOOD

I am looking for some high 14's with the drag radials.

    Come over and introduce yourselves.

  2. Cool, it takes a special person to drive a true sleeper. I dont think I could go to the minivan extreme(although I have one). Kudos to you sir.

If you would like to see one of my Mini Vans got to this link:

I do NOT have any track time with it as of yet.

Still breaking in the motor, once I am happy that all is OK

I will turn up the boost to 23-25 PSI

My goal is to break into the 11's

Then I will install my N2O system to it.

    :)

  3. I for one would like to see the FIAT with the Honda motor sprout a turbo and an I/C.

    Welcome to the site

If you get a chance bring your ride up to SUPERFLY (located in Akron, Ohio) at the Spaghetti Warehouse on any Sunday around 7pm. We have one giant cruise.

  4. your not the same guy in the turbo van that came out to the meets like 2 years ago and was driving like a idiot and doing burnouts were you? if i remember it had the fake wood panel on the side.

if its not you, interesting sleeper.

No---I am proud to say that it was not me.

I keep most of my show boating to the track

I will do BRAKE BOOSTS however for crowd entertainment ;)

  5. Yes that is my son's 2001 GTI VR6, with a 5 speed manual.

    It made 332.86 fwhp & 295.87 lb/ft on a day that was 85.87 degrees.

He does not have any drag radials or slicks and is traction limited.

PS--The blue mini van with the fake wood racing the VW is ours as well, it runs 14.35

  6. My problem if I won, is that I am already 55 so taking the money over a 30 year period is out of the question. I would still work at my job, buy a house in the country on 5 acres, and build three different garages (two would hold 8 cars each, the third would have 3 bays and it would have two of those bays with lifts in them). Invest some and buy some more toys.
  7. Hay there Mr Nasty,

I am glad that you joined. I have a great time in reading the posts that the forum members put in. Some are off the wall but I still read them.

Next time you guys are planning a trip to the Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron, let me know and I will bring a pair of my Turbo Mini Vans for you to scope out.

    Chuck
