Just so you guys know this::::::::
You can bring your ride to Quaker City Drag Strip on Saturday 7-18-09. You will be able to make some Time Trails and then do some Bracket Racing. Who knows maybe you can line up against one of the Quick LX Cars or maybe even a Viper. I for one would like for some of my fellow Board Members to come out.

Ah, so this is who you were telling me about, Chuck.

Hay TurboBuckeye,
Welcome to the Forum. CR is a blast. There are all kinds of different car enthusiasts in here. Some of them have some very UNIQUE rides. Granted I think I am the ONLY ONE with Turbo Mini Vans in here.
Guys this is my PARTNER from the LX & BEYOND NATIONALS. He does the Car Show and I do the Drag Race. If you would like to check out the Event please feel free to come on out.
Welcome Once Again

There is a 1983 Dodge Shelby Charger FWD 4 cyl auto up here that runs 10.00 @ 141.
He drives it on the street, not much mind you, but he does once in awhile.
2.4 DOHC motor with 28 psi and 80shot of N2O.
Chuck

I would pick the F40 --- Turbo V8 is the way to fly.

Just so everyone knows this will be a PAYING JOB. If I use you you will have a contract.
The Events I have promoted have been on the Front Cover of 18 National Car Magazines and featured inside 38 of them since 1985. One of the Events got on the Cover of HOT ROD Magazine (twice).

My partner and I are putting on a good size Car Show & Drag Race Event at Quaker City Dragstrip in Salem, Ohio on July 17-18-19, 2009. I would like to have 1 maybe 2 people that are REALLY GOOD with a camera to take some stills and action shots. The Event is called the LX & BEYOND NATIONALS and is for the new generation Mopar Vehicles. Let me know if you are interested and show me some of your work.
Thanks

Don't care. Beyond tired of people reading on some random forum about "bad BP gas" and spreading the bullshit. Especially, when over the years, EVERYtime I defend BP, the person bashing it admits they have never personally had a problem with it.
ANYWHOS... nice Ford, heh?
Hay Vinny,
I have a question for you. Remember I am new here and still do not know everyone, but is your truck steet legal or race only ? If you guys are ever up around the Akron area let me know I would like to see it in person.
Chuck

I for one would like to see the motor.
I thought it was a neat piece.

I never met Paul in person, but he felt like a friend to me.
I will truly miss him on the air.

Those guys are NUTS....
No way would I ever
-
Someone's gotta take you for a drive down one of these roads. A couple other Subaru guys and I did that to Thorne and he nearly swore off drag racing.
I will be BOLD and admit that I am scared to take turns fast.
I grew up on old Mopar B Bodies and they did not handle well.
So naturally all I do is Drag Race.
Now I would not mind watching you go fast around the turns, but at a safe distance.

NEWS FLASH !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just found out that there will be another Cruise that we can go to on Saturday Night.
It starts around 6:00pm and is about 1/2 mile from our Hotel Headquarters.
Pull out onto South Ave and turn right (south), the cruise is across the street.
There is allot of old school Muscle in there.
Maybe we can go over a drum up some spectators for our Sunday Eliminations.
