NK9 is not me. It's a well renowned facility that not only trains dogs, but also has a pretty intense course for people to become trainers. They have students from around the world. They are located over by Gahanna. One of my friends used to be a trainer there and I have met another one on a few occasions that is still there. Her name is Erica, and she know's her ish. http://nk9.com/index.html It's where I went to have a few dog's CGC certified back in the day when I still lived in Columbus. Consistency is key. As for "shock collar", "e-collar" or whatever term people want to use, I have absolutely zero issue using that as a training tool, just like every other tool available. The problem comes in when it is misused, like most training tools are such as slip collars and prong collars. Nearly every time I see them used, I cringe because they aren't being used properly. "Positive" reinforcement "works" with some dogs to a certain extent; but I know many dogs that couldn't give two craps about that cute clicker sound and the hotdogs in your fanny pack. There is a reason you don't see dogs trained at petsmart in the serious obedience competitions.

National K9. BTW, if you are serious, get ready for a lifestyle change. I'd say 90% of the people I encounter want to treat dogs and their issues like a wrench turning a bolt and it's fixed. That's not how it works. Most people I know who I have worked with don't follow through, and their dogs retain the same issues, yet somehow magically when I show back up, the dog is on point within 5min. the difference? I enforce the rules and the owners don't because lazy.

Well, that was a pretty fkn awesome movie. I'm going to need to do round 2 this weekend.

Thanks for the info. I'd guess I need 800ish wheel for one to be fast enough for my liking.

Engine wise, (and maybe Brian can chime in here) what is a boosted stock 5.0 coyote believed to be able to handle power wise? I have heard the 2015's have better internals and heads, than previous years, likened to the boss 302 motors. and I have "heard" there are some 900whp TT 5.0's down here in DFW. Could I get 800-850whp out of a stock 2015 and still get 20000-30000mi out of it, or is it like, a few drag passes at that power on the stock motor and you are needing a new motor?

The good part is, there were 3 things possibly going on with her, 2 being serious, and one not being serious. We were blessed enough to find out it was the non-serious possibility. It sucks that it took a few grand to find that out, but that's the price you pay to have kids, right? Ha ha. I 2nd this motion. It's one thing if you do what you can in your power to be responsible, and you still need help. I am all for that. Everyone needs some kind of help at one point or another. But there is a difference between doing your due diligence to be a responsible member of society, and being a someone that just takes advantage of society. Need to take it 3rd world and have him and his GF flogged in the town square. I had the CPT code and they knew the hospital where I was originally going to have the procedure done. At least now I know to just keep bumping it up the ladder until I receive the information I am requesting. I am chocking all this up to an educational experience. Also, I don't have an HR department, and I buy my own healthcare, so this is kind of something I have to learn and fight for on my own. The Hospital had told me they didn't have that info available to them. I don't doubt this is true for the girl I was speaking to, but I know someone there has that info. Yeah, I think both parties, Hos and Ins would not want this kind of information made public.
-
I had actually tried to ask BCBS what their contracted rate was on the cpt code I gave them and the rep said she did not have access to that info. The reason I want to know is because if the Ins Company was going to pay $2000 to the hospital for an MRI that I paid $1643 for, I would the the Ins company should reimburse me at least a percentage of the difference since I actually saved them money. Now, if the Ins company would have only paid $1500, then I didn't "save" them money, but that leads to a whole other issue. If your "cost" was only $1500, then why am I being told it's going to cost $6000. I pay you $12k/yr to negotiate for me...
-
Is there a way for me to find out exactly what the negotiated rates between the Ins Co and the provider are? Like, originally, the MRI was $6000, $4500 would have been out of my pocket, then Insurance would have covered the rest as I would have met my deductible. Now, I know that there is no way BCBS was going to pay $6k, but were they going to pay less than $1643? Story on NPR the other day was about how some big Incs companies allowed researchers to go through their negotiated rates and apparently some of this info was released, but I need to find it. If the BCBS Rate was anything below $6000, then why the heck are they trying to screw the consumer by charging them as such? So frustrating.

Edumacate yourself. http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pages/jacks-pcv Good info there. My system is a little simpler, but very similar. Also look up paul volks setup. Mine is nearly identical to his.

Check this shiz out: Elia (my daughter) had a post-mri follow up eye exam today. After the exam, and after the insurance, it was going to cost us $112 out of pocket. So I had my wife ask, "how much if we keep insurance out of it and just pay it out of pocket right now?" $80. So we paid the $80 and save $32. With 2wks left in the year, its not like we were going to hit our deductible anyway, so why not save the $30? I really feel my insurance company should be cutting me checks for saving THEM money by shopping around and negotiating rate. Whats that? The MRI was going to cost the insurance company a few grand? But I just paid for it myself out of pocket for $1643? BCBS needs to be cutting me a check and sending me a thank you card and some cheryl's cookies.

Came to post what JP did. The dipstick blowing out is not an issue itself, it's telling you there is another issue that needs fixed. springing it is only trying to mask the problem. FK your catch can setup. A few years ago on my 1G, I had a similar catch can and was blowing the dipstick out, oil all over, oil leaks from the pan and a few other places. I decided to go with a calan catch can, two -10an's from the VC to the can, then one -12an from the can to the intake pipe right before the manifold. Instantly stopped blowing the dipstick out and all my oil leaks went away.

I'd rather be in the vehicle racing.

Yeah, I think that is where I had to take my pee test way back in the day.

I could help you with Red's...not a big fan of whites with the exception of Torrontes and a few other less known varietals.

Not sure if it was already mentioned, but two of the same sized turbos is series are NOT "twin." A bigger turbo and smaller turbo in series are sequential.

You work for worthington? Which division? I Worked at Cylinders off Maxtown and then Steel, before I got a fancy dancy white collar job. Have a buddy that started at the same time as me that works there still. It's a good company to work for.

Rely on the rest of you paying $12k/yr to use $500/yr worth of services to pay for us.

I'd have to say, for a lot of people, I don't think that's a bad way to go. Outside of childbirth, we have never come anywhere near hitting our annual individual or family out of pocket max. Not by a long shot. Kids are the make or break factor in my decision to keep insurance due to the fact that kids are always getting into shenanigans. Broken bones, split chins, etc.
